I really can’t express how how blown away I was by this. I expected something simplified. But to say it was well worth its value for the money I spent on it would literally be doing it a huge injustice. The consult that comes with it BLEW ME AWAY. THE accuracy was there but then to have it broken down further and connect dots everywhere just blew my mind. Mind you, I’m not a stranger to genetics, or some of the concepts he discussed with me but I’m not educated at the level or anywhere close to the level of the absolutely amazingly brilliant gentleman I am very thankful I was able to speak to. If you’re on the fence, or have weird feelings about genetics in general then maybe research first. If you’re open minded and understand DNA and genes or at least that they are a thing that exists.     • Waste of money
The results tell you things like “people with your genotype tend to be introverted” or “people with your genotype tend to have trouble sleeping”. I already knew these things, and their suggestions were things that I’ve already read online or in books. Also, just because a certain percentage of the population share a particular genotype that you have possess a certain trait, doesn’t mean that you automatically possess this trait. I will say that I agreed with almost all of the tendencies associated with my various genotypes. However, it’s nothing I didn’t already know. My Mental Health Map has been so helpful for me. I have struggled with anxiety issues for over 20 years. Without getting too personal, I have gone to many counselors over the years. It wasn't until about 2 years ago that I had a doctor explain exactly what was happening in my body when these attacks happened. He also gave me very simple tools to help regulate my brain. Now, understanding more about my brain and how it is wired I am able to diminish the attacks. So for me, this test helped me. It was spot on! I added a picture of one part of my test so you could see a bit of how it works. What is amazing is how so many areas intertwine with each other. I have had this test for a few weeks now and the more I read the more I amazed. I also want to point out I did this for my son and again the information was priceless! Hope this helps! ... show more

I wanted to know more about caring for my mental health, so I tried the Genomind Mental Health Map. The process was straightforward - the product arrived quickly and the instructions were easy to follow. I received my mental health map within 3 days of mailing my swab. My "map" is like an interactive website that breaks down each of the core capabilities and describes my unique traits and predispositions. It has so much helpful information, but also guides me through each capability in a thoughtful way so that I don't feel overwhelmed. It's definitely a resource I will keep referring to as I continue adjusting my self-care and maintain my mental health. I haven't scheduled my consult with a Genomind BrainTrust yet but I will update my review when I do. So far, I'm really glad I did this. This was very easy to do and got quick results, but none of them seemed accurate for me. Wasn’t helpful or worth it at all.

This is a complex report. I strongly recommend the consultation. At first I was expecting a flow chart to detail areas of information, but it is more complex and rich in insightful information once you fully navigate the report .
