We are new to the "Bidet Experience" I won't go into the details , but if you haven't tried one , you should ! the experience is pretty eye opening . Ok on to the product review itself ... If you are handy and can do basic DYI around the house , then you should have no issues installing this . I will point out that some plumbing and electrical will be involved . Electrical maybe the biggest issue , luckily we had an outlet installed beneath our vanity to provide charging ports for our electronic hygiene items (flosser, shaver ,trimmer , etc) so it only required drilling an access hole for the cord to plug into . We also decided to purchase a different water connection valve . If you have a toilet that doesn't have the standard water fill valve on the bottom of the tank you will need to contact Genie Bidet for a replacement hose and they will provide you with a 3 way connector that will adapt to your water shut off valve . We didn't like the fact that it didn't have a shut valve for the seat . so we purchased a better valve from amazon ( YUHX Brass Angle Stop Add-A-Tee Valve for TOTO Washlet Bidet and Handheld Sprayer, 3/8 Inch Compression 3 Way Diverter Connector, 3/8"x3/8"x3/8" or 1/2" Toilet T Adapter ) This unit has everything you need to adapt your seat to the water shut off valve and you will still have a separate shut off for the water that goes to the seat , so you can remove the seat for cleaning or servicing ! Getting the remote open for battery installation IS a little hard , use a butter knife and be careful you don't hurt yourself or the remote. also the wall mount was a little tricky to assemble double check that you have it correctly together . I think people that claim the remote can fall off are not assembling it properly because our remote sticks to the magnet just fine ! And last tip don't tighten the seat mounting bolts too tight until you try fitting the seat to the bracket and adjusting it to the Bowl . it will make life easy to fine tune the seat to the bowl ! My husband had a complete reverse shoulder replacement mid November. It was his right shoulder and his dominate side. There are many unmentionable issues losing the use of your dominant hand creates. So, I looked for a bidet! Since all of the ones I looked at had the seat controls on the right side, I had to look for one that had a remote. My husband was VERY skeptical. I'm not sure if it's because he was able to maintain some sense of pride or the always warm seat to sit on, but he has told all of his friends how wonderful it is! I love the warm seat, warm water, multi position, multifunctions available with this brand. The night light proved to be a little bright for us, but it was easy enough to turn off and the remaining small light is plenty. So worth the $$$! ... show more

This Genie Bidet toilet seat is great. I love a warm toilet seat on a cold morning! I got the EB-3000e -- it's electric with remote control, heated seat and has full washing and drying functions. It also has buttons on the right side if you don't want to use the remote. This is the second one like this I've bought. The first one was in 2020 when there was hardly any TP in the stores. That first one has been working great for over 3 years now. This time I was just looking for a heated toilet seat for our second bathroom, but they are almost as much as a bidet toilet seat so I decided to spend just a little more and get a full bidet toilet seat again. Also, my daughter and son-in-law decided a couple of years ago to get a bidet toilet seat -- I told them about our Genie Bidet and so they got one too. They have also been really happy with theirs. I really like this company because 1) their stuff is high quality, 2) they send all the parts you'll need PLUS a few extra washers and fittings just in case, and 3) with my first one I contacted Genie Bidet customer support with a question and they answered right away and were extremely helpful. Keep in mind that you will need an electric outlet nearby that's either GFCI or else connected to one. If you're handy, you can put one in yourself, or else you'll have to have an electrician do it. ... show more

This is the second bidet I've purchased. I never installed the first one because the fitting didn't match our plumbing and I ended up installing it at my mother-in-law's house. This one had all the fittings and then some, so I was able to match it up to our plumbing. It's great. The heated seat and warm water are pleasant and the various spray patterns make it a breeze to use. Highly recommended. ... show more

One of three, technically 4, was defective. The spray nozzle was jammed at an angle. Amazon shipped the replacement immediately. Now all 3 are installed. We love them! The water pressure is good. The warm seat is surprisingly nice. The temperature and other settings on the remote are easy to use. My sister and I agree that having the controller where we can see it is great. The bidet seat came well packaged. It was rather easy to install and I had a gfi outlet right next to the toilet. Connected everything up and tried it out. It works perfectly! The remote is easy to use and I love all the features. I would not hesitate to recommend this unit and give it five stars!

    • I love it!
I was on the fence about getting one of these for awhile but damn I'm glad I did. Cleaning is faster, better, and I use way less toilet paper now. Paper is used pretty much to dry and double check at this point. It comes with a water shut off / supply valve that you can adjust a little to get the water pressure to your liking. I do wish the flow control on the remote worked a little better and I didn't have to adjust the other way but it's not a big deal. Once you adjust the valve the way you like it you never have to mess with it again. Love how it has a little air filter thing that turns on when you sit on it. It's just a great seat. I highly recommend upgrading your thrown. Install is pretty easy. You're gonna feel clean and have a smug look of superiority for awhile. ... show more
