  • Details are great - other things not so much!
I'm about halfway through this build. The interior details are really great! And I think it will be a very impressive piece. The pieces are often difficult to seat together, taking many tries to get them lined up so they'll go together. A hammer and a pair of needle nose pliers are a necessity. While there have been no missing pieces so far, I've had several instances where the pieces were the wrong color. The colors are difficult to discern in the instruction booklet but I'm sure I didn't make a mistake and use the wrong color. The base isn't well supported so the second floor has a sway to it. Larger reinforcements would have made the whole thing more stable. This is not for the faint-hearted - over 6000 pieces - it takes a lot of time just to sort the pieces when you open a bag. They are not packaged in the order of use, like Lego kits. I enjoy assembling large buildings, so this one definitely meets that criteria, and the prices is much lower than a comparable build from Lego. I wish it had some mini-figures to live in the house! ... show more

  • Amazing!
This kit turned out IMPRESSIVE! The detail and overall presence are fantastic. There are, however, some construction tips for the attic and roof. They want you to build the whole section and then turn it over and add the under bracing. That is insane. The tip is when you start to build the floor of the attic and the actual roof panel, skip ahead and add the bracing and then come back and build the floor. Otherwise, this is the biggest kit I could find as an MOD building and it's a showstopper. ... show more

  • DO NOT BUY!
What absolute JOKE! Of a Lego. Nothing lined up took it apart twice. Colors don’t match finished the first floor and got to the last 3 pages of the first floor and nothing would connect it is a joke Cool idea. Absolute joke design. Don’t buy unless you intend to on being very very frustrated and smashing it Wish I could give it a 0 star. Complete waste of money ... show more

  • Great!
This particular brand of faux Lego is one of the best so far. Pieces have excellent clutch power, almost too much sometimes. Only completed 1st level so far, but excellent in my book! I would buy anything else this brand made, based on my experience, this is the best one to date.

  • Smashing!
Arrived on time. ALL pieces there! Very challenging to built at times (not for kids). Overall an amazing set when finished. 5/5

  • Very Nice, but hard to put together
The final product looks really nice. I chose it as it looked better than the Lego Original that is going to be available in August. But putting it together is a mission compared to any of the Lego creator plus modular buildings. 1. The instructions are terrible. It does not always clearly indicate what the steps are. The color representation is incorrect. Dark Brown is Black, Black is gray, light gray is white... dark gray is light gray. It is highly frustrating when you look for parts in the wrong pile, because you assume a different color. 2. The quality of the bricks in general is very good, but still very stiff compared to the original. Putting some parts together needs more force than usual. 3. The design of certain things makes you wonder, why it was done like this. Parts are connected by single points only, making certain elements in the house very loose. All in all it is a nice build once completed, but it will cost you your nerves if you are spoiled by Lego... ... show more

  • Really nice kit.
Great looking building. Only had one problem, some parts the were supposed to be black were actually dark brown. But all worked out well. This is going to be an additional piece to my city.
