  • Does what it should
Size: 1 quart Style: pH Down
Not much to say about this. It does what it should and it's a good price imo. I use it every feeding because my tap water runs at like 8ph. Recommend getting a decent ph pen though to dial it in

  • Does what it is marketed to
Size: 1 quart Style: pH Down
It's pH down to use with hydroponics / growing so nothing crazy to write about. Use as needed whenever your water is above the ideal range. I bought mine in 2021 and have had some inconsistent results with it recently where a small amount brought the pH down more than it usually would. That's happened three times now so I took some time to shake it and hopefully that resolves the inconsistencies. If I can't figure that out then I'll replace it since I don't like not being able to estimate how much to use for a certain pH and volume of water. MSDS sheet from 2021 I found indicates its 10-17% phosphoric acid. Therefore I put value for money pretty low since you can buy food grade phosphoric acid at 85% for pretty affordable prices and dilute it yourself. If your churning through this stuff and want a more affordable option I would suggest you look into that. ... show more

  • Works well
Size: 1 quart Style: pH Down
Works well. The secondary seal is extremely difficult to remove, I had to cut it with a knife. The tab just peeled off without the seal. Otherwise great product.

  • Does exactly what I want it to do
Size: 1 quart Style: pH Down
This PH Down works even better than the aquarium brand I bought; it takes a lot less product to lower the PH of my plant water in my 6 cup watering can. I go from a PH of 7 or 8 down to 6.5 on 1ml or less. I bought a 4oz glass bottle that comes with a 1ml dropper to help me control the drops.
