I have (2) of these I purchased from a local big box store, they are barely used and very well taken care of and stored in my workshop, with the fuel pumped out and ran until empty. I just recently took them out to run them and neither one of them were working due to the carburetors needing to be cleaned or replaced. During Hurricane Ida I had to use whatever gas was available and was fortunate to get any. Needless to say the gas available had ethanol in it and caused the problems even though I had pumped out the fuel and ran them dry before storing them in y shop. I think they are very good generators as long as you can keep non-ethanol gas in them. Otherwise clean or replace the carburetor. ... show more

This is my second Generac generator so when I added gas I immediately knew that the fine mesh filter was missing. Lousy quality control and inefficient customer service.
