These are heavy, solid, unique, interesting, well-made (i.e. stable on flat surface). I was not expecting for the rough inner parts to be colored black and the outer surface to be finished/glossy but I really like it that way. Given that these are teak we are going to keep them outside, but it was a hard decision not to have them be part of our inside furniture. I am editing this because we put pressure on one of them and a bottom part broke, rendering it unstable. I will be seeking replacement of that one, which is a pain because it is so heavy. ... show more

I absolutely love the look of this teak table but I'm dissapointed how far off the measurements are. This particular one is just shy of 15 inches tall. That's 3 inches shorter than it says it will be. I was expecting it to maybe be an inch or so shorter than listed, but this is just dissapointing. Other than the size its perfect. UPDATE: I think it is important to note that the majority of the reviews are from when these cost roughly $200 less than what they are being sold for now. This randomly popped up in my browser and I can definitely say that I would give less stars for these if I had paid almost $400 for them. When I purchased these they were $116 after tax. Absolutely love this!!! Wishing I had bought two, of course now they are unavailable. Fingers crossed there more in stock soon because I 100% will be purchasing another! So unique and beautiful!! Update: A second one finally came in stock so I bought it. It’s a little darker than the first, and I assume it was a return because it’s a bit beat up with a few rather large gouges unfortunately. It also had several large chunks of concrete inside that were “fun” to try and fish out and a bug chunk that was nailed onto the bottom (with nails showing) to make a more stable base. Thankfully just like the first it is not as tall as the listing states, both are roughly 16 1/4” not 18” tall. Overall still happy with my purchase, especially considering what other sellers ask for similar products, but disappointed in overall quality control and “craftsmanship” of my second purchase so downgraded my review from 5 to 4 stars. ... show more

I love love love this! It is stunning. Even better than the pictures. Warning- very heavy. But you want it heavy, I love it heavy. Wide enough for my mom’s plump rear end to be stable. The box comes with heavy duty staples so don’t open this on wood floors. This is solid wood ya’ll. I was expecting a lightweight rubberwood, mostly ornamental stool. This is not that. I feel like this is a pretty unique piece of furniture and have been happy with it, but just watch the dimensions of what you need to ensure it's large enough for your use. So, my fault, I didn't grab a measuring tape and actually size it out beforehand - it's not real large. I'm actually using it as an accent table next to a chair and I love it for this purpose, but just bought a 24 inch round glass tabletop to put on top of it so it's more useful. One other thing, be prepared for a bit of a mess when you open it - there were pebbles and things lodged in all the nooks and crannies and it was VERY dusty when I took it out of the box. There are also areas that looked a little dried out, but after using a good quality wood cleaner/preserver it's much better. I love that it's solid wood and not veneer, that it's essentially been reclaimed to use as furniture, and that the teak is a beautiful, warm shade. It just needs a little love out of the box. Looking back at others' reviews, mine isn't painted black in some areas but it does look a little charred and dry. Not sure if painting the inside bits is newer? I measured it and it's 14 inches wide and 17 inches tall, but I'm sure it varies a little. If you wanted to use it as a stool, I'm 5'6" and find it a great height for me - if you were taller and/or had long legs it could be a little awkward, I'm guessing. ... show more

This is a beautiful and heavy piece of wood. I definitely would not send it back, but do wish it were closer to the correct size. It's about 2 inches short, and 'that's what she said' 😁
