Solid Generator
Style: 3,800 Starting Watts
Pattern Name: 50 State
Very happy with the generator. The set up, namely adding the correct amount of oil, was trickier than expected, but the rest of the set up and use was easy. It starts easily. It runs quietly. It is a good value for what we paid for it. We primarily use it at a back up for when the power goes out (e.g., storms, etc.). We haven't had to use it under those conditions yet, but we've tested it and everything works as advertised.

Made with Obsolete Parts and Breaks Down Quickly
Style: 3,800 Starting Watts
Pattern Name: 50 State
I cannot say enough bad about these generators. They break down and parts are not obtainable. Don't purchase one of these. Update: Finally got Generac to fix the problems through a service center. They have been drug through mud to get it repaired and they sent the wrong parts. Not reliable, very poor service and extreme repair times. Cannot emphasize enough, DONT BUY. UPDATE: The generator has been out for repair for 3 months and the repair parts are still not available.

Nothing better. I'm a general person. The battery they sold with the generator was defective and I left a message with Amazon and Not 1 person replied. 80 BUCKS LATER, NEW BATTER GENERATOR WORKS FINE.

Compact, powerful generator but questionable reliability.
Style: 3,800 Starting Watts
Pattern Name: 49 State
This generator seem well-made and compact. However the electric starter would not work and the instructions for connecting it do not correspond to what actually needs to be done. The picture in the manual does not show the actuall part of the connections that must be accessed. Had to use the manual pull starter but on the third pull the handle broke off and the rope disappeared into the recoil The mechanism was not accessible without removing several parts from the machine. We could not find a Generac service shop so had to use a local mechanic. It took him 3 hours of work to fix the device. I believe this generator has a basic design flaw. It seems to run well, a bit noisy and significant vibration, but I guess this is somewhat expected with a device such as this. I am reluctant to recommend this particular machine.

Great Generator

Great generator with plenty of power. The propane run is extremely quiet and virtually no smell. Wonderful little unit that has saves me many times already during power outages.
