I ordered this size mat to place on either side of my island and in front of a cabinet wall. They fit perfectly. These are the areas I stand the most when cooking, so I wanted mats that would give me a buffer between our tile floor and my problem feet. I have plantar fasciitis and bone spurs, and I do a lot of cooking for our nonprofit that provides free meals in rural areas near us. These mats allow me to stand and cook all day without pain. They are very, very comfortable. They don't slide or move around as all other mats I have tried. The tops are not slick, so I can move quickly without fear of slipping. This is great for safety. They stay in place. I have black-patterned granite counters and white cabinets. These black mats look great in our kitchen. I like these so much, I may order some for our bathrooms (in pretty patterns--not black).

Ok—this is THE most comfortable kitchen mat I have ever stood on. Just like other reviewers, I have spent money on other so-called anti-fatigue mats. I was extremely, I mean, EXTREMELY— hesitant about the cost just for a kitchen mat to stand on. Let me tell you, this thing is awesome. The price is so worth it. It is super heavy-duty and looks great in my kitchen.

This mat is super cushy! What a difference it has made. I can stand at my counter for a long time as I prep my meals or bake and I no longer need to take a break from the hard tile floor. It’s easy to clean as well. Great investment.

The price is worth it. This mat is so over the top comfortable to stand on, my feet and back felt relief immediately. . .so much so I ordered another one for the other side of my kitchen & yet another to place in front of the stove. I have had Gel Pro mats for 12-1/2 years in the kitchen. After many years of use, the old ones wore out around the edges and in places cracked (slit) on the top. . .. not too much, but enough to transport them to the basement for continued use. However, this new "Pro" design is over the top fantastic. The edges will not curl. It is thicker, much better designed with more cushioning than the old ones. It's probably going to save money on chiropractic appointments and/or body work.

I bought two, the 72" and 36", to form an L shape in my kitchen. My wife and I have been using them every day for more than two months, and they still look and feel brand new. They're easy to clean with soapy water. Aesthetically, the color and pattern are perfect for our kitchen. Functionally, they're filled with plastic gel and are very dense and heavy weight, which is why they are so comfortable to stand on. They're well made and appear to be very durable. Time will tell. The only negative is that they move a little on our porcelain tile floor after being walked on for a few days, but that's an easy fix with a little double-sided tape. Otherwise, 5 stars. Sure, there are lots of less expensive mats out there. But these are the best. You get what you pay for and these were worth every penny because they keep my wife happy. Happy wife, happy life!

I thought I would probably hate the way it looks and I was thinking I would just put it down when I’m cooking or baking. I was surprised that it doesn’t look bad at all. It’s so great for back pain. At first I was just going to buy the 20x36, but I ended up buying the 20x72. I’m so glad I went with the bigger one. It’s like walking and standing on a cloud. I think maybe heaven will be paved with Gelpro.. I would highly recommend this and Amazon had the best price.
