This is a nice product. To be honest, I was actually expecting a plate for the bottom half of it, I guess I should’ve look at the picture more closely. But it’s just a very thin rubber pad and the cover, as advertised is collapsible and easy to wash and maintain. The material seems of sound quality. Not a bad purchase.

The microwave cover and mat look sturdy and functional. They do an adequate job. However, the first time I used the mat, a little spaghetti sauce got on the mat and it stained. Additionally, the steam holes in the cover are just a little too large. The holes certainly allow steam to escape, but some bits of soup also escape simply because the holes are large, so I still had to wipe off the top and door of the microwave.
