I usually sit by the arm of my couch and I’ve been wanting a holder for my coffee and other drinks. When I saw this holder I thought I’d give it a try. The workmanship is good but they could pay a little bit more attention to details. The curves and bevels are a little rough and should have been sanded to the smooth finish all the faces of the holder are. If my arm is resting on the couch arm and part of it is touching the holder, I’ve found that with certain clothes, they will slightly catch on the edge of the holder. I need to go sand the bevels smooth, but it is something the manufacturer should have done. The bottom of the holder has a non-slip cloth on it that holds well to my couch. It would take a pretty good hit to knock the holder off the arm of my couch. The cup holder is large at almost 4” wide. I have a 16oz coffee mug in it in my picture but my large 32oz stainless tumbler also fits in it without issue. The remote holder is long enough that it should fit most remotes. One very functional item of interest is that you can fold each side in, which saves space when storing. When I’m not using it I can folder the sides in and easily store it in our coffee table. Overall, I am very happy with the holder. If the manufacturer paid a little bit more attention to the details and everything was sanded smoothly, I’d give it a five star rating. Functionally, it works great. It is very convenient while working on my laptop or reading a book on the couch to just reach over and grab my drink. When watching TV, I now have a place for the remote so it no longer gets lost in the cushions or falls between the sections.
