It has the aesthetic of an old-time typewriter, and I really like the sound of the keys as I type. Right out the box, I instantly felt the retro typewriter vibe. I also noticed that it was quite heavy, and not the light fragile plastic junk. There really isn't much to it. The connection is wireless; plug in the USB adapter, and you are ready to go. The keys have a nice deep touch, giving you some kind of reassurance that the key was actually pressed, unlike many other keyboards that have really thin keys, which makes you second guess if you clicked the intended key or not. The keystrokes are pretty quiet and probably the most quiet keyboard I have come across The Mouse is pretty straight forward. The only issue that I have experienced, was intermittent connection glitches. I noticed that I have to have a clear line of sight, from the adapter to the keyboard and mouse in order to have normal response. It would have been really nice if this keyboard combo had Bluetooth capabilities, but overall it's a pretty decent keyboard and I think it would look good sitting on a any desk at work. I have been using mine for about 3 weeks and honestly it is definitely worth it for the price. Connects easily. The mouse takes a AAA battery and keyboard takes a AA battery. I do not turn the keyboard or mouse off at the end of each 8hr work day, I only turn them off one the weekends. I have not had to replace the batteries yet. The keyboard itself is very nice, I haven’t had any issues with response time, as I saw some had mentioned. (I type approx. 65-75 wpm). All the keys work as they should. I really enjoy that the clicking can still be heard but it’s relatively quieter then most keyboards. The mouse is great as well, there is no clicking sound when you push it, which personally I like. It does have a “sleep mode” after 5-10 mins of inactivity. This is not a big deal as all you have to do to wake it up is click once and it’s immediately ready to go again. One thing I have noticed is, rarely, the mouse will be a little glitchy, and takes a second to catch up. This has happened maybe 3 times since I started using it and after a second or two it’s fine. Not a big deal to me. I have also seen some reviews that ppl do not like the “geezer” across the front. Also, not a big deal to me. I don’t even notice it anymore. Great portable keyboard. I love the round keys and that it makes that typing noise as you type. The matching mouse is nice just not very ergonomic but still is great to take back and forth to work and travel. Great keyboard for the price.

I love the look of my new raised keyboard! The keyboard takes one AAA battery and the matching and included mouse takes one AA battery. The sounds of the clicks as I’m typing or nice if you like ASMR. The mouse does fall asleep if you haven’t used it for a while, so you just have to right click it and it turns on again. This worked well for about a year. Randomly, the mouse stopped working. It’s still lighting up and I changed the battery but nothing happens on the computer when I move or click the mouse or any buttons. Keyboard still works fine. I won’t be repurchasing for that reason.
