A very reliable wireless wifi surveillance camera. The built in rechargeable battery will last a very long time before needing recharging. I use this camera in my small studio size apartment and this camera's lens gives a very wide camera view to whoever is looking at the video footage on the geeni phone app. I use to use the geeni cameras that are sold at Walmart for about $26.00 but it would take 2 cameras to cover the same area that 1 good camera can cover all by itself. The motion sensors on the Walmart cameras were always giving me false alarm signals but this pricier camera has never given me any false alarm signals, well at least not yet. This camera is a very good and reliable camera for the price. You can run this camera alone with the use of the geeni app or you can run as many cameras as needed to help protect your property. ... show more

A few things to state about this so far. It was really easy out of the box setup. The app it requires is easy to use and helpful. subscription for cloud storage is reliable and cheap at only $2.49 a month or $20 for a year, a bit cheaper than amazons blink subscription at $3 a month for one device. ended up having to replace my blink outdoor camera with this since I no longer can get it connected to WIFI and have no once had a problem with it. only problem I had with is the screw on wall mount with it takes a little play to get the angles right and to stay in place. other than that little problem is a great product for a great price and would recommend it to anyone that wants to watch the house or apartment. ... show more

So easy to install. Battery is slow to discharge -- been up two weeks and I'm still over 85% battery life. I only wish Geeni had come up with a solar panel to mate with this camera. I did find one that has the right fitting -- It's a different brand, but I'm thinking about trying it out. Other than that I think this is a very great camera and pairs well with my Geeni Hawks to give me an additional angle of vision around my yard. I like the Geeni app on my phone for viewing the cameras too. ... show more

I like this camera, the price is great compared to say SimpliSafes' new wireless cam!..... I bought this Geeni Cam to test it before buying several more and for the most part I like how it works with the App and picks up most motion! Or I can manually turn it on and watch if I think there is something going on in the cameras location. I wish the mounting setup came with better wood screws for outside wood surfaces.... the ones that come with the camera were so cheap, I couldn't even get them halfway into the wood before they were stripped... so definitely go get some NICE wood screws (at least 2 for ea. cam) to give you a good solid mounting! Battery seems to last a good while, of course this is based on how much traffic it's monitoring and ultimately how often it turns on and off! And keep in mind, outdoor cameras need to simply operate with the app, they don't need to be hooked into the entire system! So while I went with the SimpliSafe system as a whole for the inside of my home; window/door/motion sensors, front door cam, and Panic button for access to the emergency monitoring system, these Geeni cams are excellent supplemental monitoring for outdoor placement around your property!
