Durable addition to my deck. Bought for sons new house as well. You do need to have a runner down your stairs to attach or it gets in the way of the tread or the snow shovel. Not overly bright but just the right amount to illuminate your walking path.

These are NOT waterproof (or even water resistant) at all. After a week of being double-sided taped to my aluminum fence, almost all of the lights are full of water (the clear plastic cover) from rain and/or irrigation, and over half of them have rust stains on the clear plastic cover because the wiring inside the lights is now rusted. Several of the lights have already stopped working, probably from short-circuiting due to being filled with water. These really didn't put out any light and are mostly good for just boundary markers (so you can see where your fence is). Otherwise, they're relatively useless as light source. Ironically, this brand of this type of light is supposedly brighter than other competing brands. I'm not really sure how any light could be less bright than these unless the light is simply turned off. I really like the idea, but now I'm searching for lights that actually are waterproof/resistant. So far it doesn't seem that any of them are. Now my brand new fence has sticky tape residue on it, so I'll be taking the better part of an afternoon clean all that off all because a manufacturer completely misrepresents (lies about) their product. ... show more

    • Don’t work dead on arrival and quit after 2 weeks
I love the lights, but I received them and right off there was 11 of the 32 that did not work. After one week 9 others quit working. They are all in full sun all day, only 2 are still working out of the 32. One is bright and one is dim. I actually purchased these for my daughter for Christmas to go around pool. She already had purchased a set and encounter the same issues with hers some didn’t work when she got and others quit working after 2-3 weeks. I read some of the reviews and tried changing batteries but cracked the 2 I tried changing the batteries in. Tried getting ahold of the company whom sold them but could not find out how to reach them. Amazon would not cover them😢 ... show more

I have these lights on my curbside fence, they light them up really nice you get bang for your buck 32 of them, if anyone burns out you can have them replaced, and it makes the fence look really nice when it's lit up.

Coming in at a little over $1 per light, I wasn’t sure what to expect. Upon unboxing, they looked okay. But upon further inspection, they were a bit on the lower quality side of a product. I wouldn’t see these lasting under harsh UV rays for very long - I doubt they’re UV resistant. There doesn’t appear to be a water-proofing seal on these so there’s no way these will be water resistant. What gave this away is that there are two drain slots at the bottom of the clear piece. They have one single LED bulb that isn’t very bright that is powered by a single AAA battery. With this being said, one single LED bulb doesn’t draw much power. So this little night could potentially last all night long with a fully charged battery. Like I said, I don’t love them bur I don’t hate them, You get what you’re paying with these. Definitely looks and feels like something you’d find at a 99 cent store. ... show more
