I had a large desktop and decided to replace it with my laptop to save space and have less clutter. All worked out well and I did save a lot of space and use less AC power. Then I discovered the Mini PC’s, they looked too good to be true. So, after reviewing them all I ordered the GEEKOM Mini PC AX8 Max. It has all the features I wanted at a good price point. I liked the idea that if I was not happy with it, I could return it for a full refund. The 3-year warranty is great to have. You can tell it is quality built. I have had it for 2 weeks now, very easy to set up and all my programs work fine with it. I just leave it at the normal speed mode, it is very fast and quite. It uses very little AC power, around 65 to 75 watts in normal use. Very happy with it, I would highly recommend it.

First day, first impression, so far, so good. This computer is screaming fast, snappy, almost silent and works great. The hardware seems very solid. This computer is small but unexpectedly heavy for its size. It fired up and works exactly as expected out of the box. Loaded with input and output ports. Wifi, Bluetooth and HDMI all function perfectly. However... Microsoft sucks! Windows 11 is a complete failure. Its a waste of storage space, designed for profit, advertising, data theft and not at all designed for productivity or functionality. I will be wiping Windows 11 ASAP and running Ubuntu instead. I would love a Linux native OS provided with this computer, or even blank, without an OS. Sending this computer out with Windows 11 is my only complaint and that's fairly easy to fix, so no stars deducted for that. Overall, so far it seems like a great value for such a powerful computer in a very small package. 2 week update- still awesome. Runs cool even at max performance settings, smooth, fast and quiet, fast boot up. OS comparison- Win11 uses about 25% CPU, over 4GB of RAM, 1gb of swap and constant internet traffic of several hundred Mb per second at idle with no programs running. Ubuntu25 uses about 1% of CPU, less than 2 GB of RAM, 100MB of swap and no internet traffic under the same idle conditions. All features are fully supported by Ubuntu.

A lot of power in an itty bitty but Nice package! I am using for a BI camera server and its much faster than the Dell 3060 its replacing roughly 3 times more performance and the CPU from what I read is 15 watts. That to me is incredible, I read real world max draw is about 30 watts for everything and it includes 65 watt power brick which is plenty of head room. Quality build and the rose colored style is nice, I don't really keep mine out for visibility but this case is attractive, compact and rugged, easy to open to access memory NVME and 2.5" expansion slot which I'm using for video storage. Value is absolutely outstanding, name brands want 2-3x more for this amount of processing power. I love that its so energy efficient, I want mine to hold on a UPS for long time if power goes out and it checks that box, very happy with performance. Mine did have to download the Win11 25H2 update before letting me sign in for first time so that took about 40min, but other then that once the upgrade completed its very fast and responsive for both camera server, wireless controller, and other apps, even ran Acronis backup while doing a whole bunch of apps to test and it didn't sweat. Easy 5 stars, time will tell on components holding up but I didn't feel much heat coming off of this which is great. Very efficient.

you just can not play any high end game otherwise the fan constantly runs, but overall it is a decent Laptop/Dektop replacement and great small form factor.

Purchased the AX8 Max from Geekom, thru Amazon, as a replacement for a desktop pc that I could not upgrade to Win 11. After researching the usual PC desktop brands, I stumbled upon Mini PC platforms. Given the form and function of these units, I decided to go the Mini PC direction. So far, I do not regret my purchase decision. This unit was delivered in a rugged box that protected the AX8 Max in a dense foam package which also included a manual, cables and a mounting plate with hardware for the back of a monitor. Wow... I was thoroughly impressed! I hooked up the unit to only my monitor, keyboard and mouse to boot for the first time. The AX8 is very quiet and I had to check to see if it was actually working. Boot time was instantaneous. After seeking the Geekom icon on the screen the unit went into the Microsoft Windows 11 Pro installation mode. There you must go thru the initial set up of Windows 11 pro which includes discovering your wifi network. No issues at all connecting to my network and downloading all the Windows 11 Pro updates. Give yourself about 1 hour for the typical Microsoft Windows first time setup. Another plus for purchasing this unit from Geekom was that it was not loaded with bloatware from third party software venders. Just shipped with Windows 11 Pro. As far as use case for the AX8 Max, it easily handles Adobe creative design software and motion graphics along with the typical office applications without any lag or buffering. I am not a gamer, but seeing that the VRAM is set a 8GBs and can be increased to 16GBs in the BIOS, I would say that this unit can handle AAA casual games. The AX8 Max does have the ability to accept a dedicated GPU externally thru one of the many ports described in the enclosed manual. (More info is included on their website for those wanting to deep dive on the specs) I did have a couple questions, which I used the "ask product question' feature within my Amazon account under orders. Geekom customer service responded within 24 hours to both questions along with a follow-up to see if I was satisfied with the response. This definitely gave me a good feeling about my purchase and the ability for Geekom to honor their warranty period. In closing, here are the positives in purchasing the AX8 Max: Case is sturdy aluminum, numerous connection ports for external peripherals, Win 11 Pro with no bloatware or ads, fast processor and memory, compatible with most third party software such a Adobe, quiet and cool operation, mounting capabilities off the desk and onto the back of a monitor/display, warranty, customer service and the price point. If you have a PC that cannot be upgraded to Windows 11 from Windows 10, I would urge you to consider this model.

I’m obsessed with this pink PC! Not only does it look absolutely stunning, but the performance is amazing too. It runs all of my games smoothly with fast loading times and zero lag, even when I’m multitasking or streaming. The RGB lighting mixed with the pink case gives my setup the perfect aesthetic vibe. The build quality feels premium, and it stays surprisingly quiet even during long gaming sessions. Setup was quick and easy, and everything worked perfectly right out of the box. Subject: URGENT: Unacceptable Response and Unresolved Defective Product - Order/Serial # [Insert Serial Number] To the Ruby Global Customer Service Management Team, I am writing to express my profound disappointment and growing frustration regarding the handling of my case for my failed Geekom mini PC. During our phone conversation, we spent considerable time going through your entire troubleshooting process. Because the device showed absolutely no response to any of these attempts, I was explicitly assured two things: that my case would be escalated to an expert to determine next steps, and that I would receive an email guiding me toward a concrete remedy. I made it unequivocally clear that this computer is the backbone of my daily workflow. My business and work have completely halted without a functional computer. The situation is critical, and every day of delay causes further disruption. To say I am disappointed by the email response I received is a severe understatement—it is an insult. Instead of providing the promised solution or expert escalation, your team sent me instructions to repeat the exact same troubleshooting steps we already completed together on the phone. This is a unacceptable waste of time for a customer facing a critical workflow stoppage. I have taken the following actions to eliminate any further excuses for delay: Attached Video Evidence: I have attached a video clearly demonstrating that the product is completely non-functional. Provided Serial Numbers: The requested serial numbers are included below and visible in the video. Because my previous outreach was met with a generic, repetitive loop, I am copying Amazon Prime Customer Service on this communication to log this severe failure in support. I require an immediate, definitive resolution. If a replacement or a concrete, expedited remedy cannot be initiated within the next 24 hours, I demand an immediate and full refund. I can honestly say this is the worst customer experience I have ever encountered with a defective product. I expect a prompt response from a supervisor or an expert who can actually resolve this today.

This is a review of the GEEKOM Mini PC AX8 Max with a AMD Ryzen 7 8745HS, Radeon 780M, 32GB RAM 1TB SSD, Win11 Pro. I’ve owned dozens of PCs back to the original IBM PC so I am writing this review with some experience. I had a name brand tower system for too many years that couldn’t be upgraded and put me in the market for a mini desktop system looking to save both space and power consumption. I looked at every mini-PC manufacturer that I could find factoring in design, specifications, price and user reviews. After this exhaustive search I narrowed down to two Geekom models (the A8X Max and the A6 which was a bit cheaper). One big factor was Geekom’s 3 year warranty on the system. When the A8X Max model went on sale, I jumped on the opportunity. When the system arrived, it was packaged like a premium product. The box had a lid that opened with the system seated inside protected by the packaging with all the accessories being stashed in a drawer below (see photo). The system was very easy to connect in a few minutes and was up and running. The system has a grayish-blue high quality aluminum case. There is a single button on the front that you can configure to power on/off or sleep the system along with four USB ports. In the rear, the unit has two more USB ports, two USB-C ports. Two HDMI ports, two ethernet ports. After a Microsoft Windows 11 Pro set-up and getting all the updates, I was up and running. I use this system primary for MS Office, browser and email although I do some video editing and CAD so I wanted to make sure I had enough power. This system provides more than enough capacity for those applications. The system has been cool to the touch after being on for hours and literally makes no noise. Another plus is that Geekdom does not pre-load the system with bloatware that other companies like to do so you get a nice clean system. After about a month of use, I am very pleased with this system, and have zero complaints. I would have no hesitation recommending this system to anyone looking for a higher-than-average specifications desktop computer at a great price.
