Overall this is a nice lock, feels solid and when it works, it's really convenient with cool functionality. I am on my third lock at this point as the first lock was the wrong model and the second lock failed to lock. I am hopeful that this lock will continue to function. Also the fingerprint sensor can be a bit sensitive, not as friendly as my phone. However, if there was an option to rate customer service I would give them 5 stars. One feature I do like is the scheduling of the passage mode which only activates once an authorized person unlocks the door. I do wish there was a button on the handle to lock it. To the best of my knowledge the only way is to use the app. One disappointment is that I have to buy a separate hub to connect to the door handle wirelessly. There should be an option for a bundle when purchasing the lock. Overall I would recommend this to someone who needs a door lock for a door without a deadbolt. If your door has a deadbolt there are other options out there which seem to function better than this lock. ... show more

    • We love it. Being able to unlock the our without being there is great.
Only thing that I feel that could make it better would be to add Google assistant to the product. But over all a solid product.

Easy to setup and works well. The gateway I bought for it doesn’t work as I expected but works nonetheless. It has one function and that is unlock the door. Does not allow you to disable a user or enable one.

Came home from work, opened the GeekSmart app on my iPhone to unlock my door, as I have done every evening after work for months - only to find that my door's information was missing from the app. There was no longer a door lock stored in the software. Two icons representing my door lock, had disappeared. I was locked out of my house. Major inconvenience, I cannot recommend this lock. It is also slow, the keypad does not work practically, with numbers often not triggering or triggering other numbers, the length of the code is excessive to the point where it is very difficult to input or even remember, the fingerprint scan does not work most of the time. Though battery life is good, the downsides and now this issue, have determined for me that I must remove this lock and install a smart door lock from some other manufacturer. I do not recommend this door lock. Sure I could re-input the door to my phone, but I think this is sure to occur again and at the worst possible time. Not taking the chance. Disappointed in this manufacturer/seller. As attractive of a choice as this may appear, if you buy one be prepared to be locked out at the worst possible time.     • Not consistent enough
L-B202. Less than 24 hours and I'm already starting my return. The Bluetooth connection is terribly inconsistent, even standing right next to it. The fingerprint reader works mostly ok. After successful fingerprint and unlock message, the lock does not always actually unlock. Or sometimes it takes a few seconds, even after hearing the mechanism move, to allow entry. I turned passage mode on before leaving for work this morning, made sure to use my fingerprint to unlock it, and even heard the passage mode active message, but just now had to watch a video on my Ring of my fiance having to be let in by the kids because she was locked out. This is supposed to be a device of convenience, but it seems to be anything but convenient. I will say the build quality is very nice. Addition: the manual it comes with is minimal and there is no documentation to be found online ... show more

Build quality is fine, instructions are missing some details. I had to cut both screws because they were too long to appropriately tighten the handle in place. The biggest issue is that the locking/unlocking mechanism is unreliable, I will get the unlocked voice but it won’t actually trigger the motor to unlock itself. Same issues with auto locking it, I had to use the app to lock it even though it is set to auto lock after 30 seconds. Also a second fingerprint was not recognized a day after it was set up. Not sure what the button on the opposite side of the handle does at all. Those quality issues need to be addressed. ... show more
