Description

The GEARWRENCH combination wrenches are durable, made from alloy steel with a bright, full polish finish. The off-corner loading design on both ends provides a stronger grip on fasteners, reduces fastener rounding, and delivers up to 25% more torque to the fasteners. Sizes are stamped on the open end head, as well as the beam for quick and easy identification. The box end is offset 15° for increased access to fasteners. I got this open box from amz warehouse and it was basically like new. Incredible, nearly compete set of wrenches from small to very large. I love the generous format length of the wrenches. You won’t believe that you’re getting the large sizes like 1.25 1.5 30mm 32mm. These are like $20 ea. The largest (1 1/2in) is nearly 20 in long! These probably aren’t the worlds best quality tools but they are fantastic initial quality and lifetime mfg warranty. Really impressed. Somehow I managed to get all of them arranged in a 19x22 drawer in my workbench-type tool chest. Win! ... show more

This set of wrenches are a great buy. They are quality tools with a great price. The best thing is that you have a wide range of sizes in standard and metric. I work on farm equipment so this set is perfect.

I have been using this wrench set for several months now. They have seen a lot of use and I am very happy with them. I received all of the sizes that I was supposed to and they don't skip any sizes until they get up into the really large wrenches. They do offer the large sizes that are skipped individually for a reasonable price if you find that you need those sizes. I did and I bought all of them. The chrome finish is very nice and the build quality is great. The length is a bit longer than standard length wrenches and I like the extra leverage but I have still used a cheater bar on some of them which they handled with no problems. The ends are a little bulky compared to hogher priced wrenches like Snap=On but lets face it, they are nowhere near the same price. You would only be able to buy the one biggest wrench in this set from Snap=On for the price of all 44 of these. I wouldn't hesitate to buy these again if the need arose, I don't think you will find a better wrench for the price. ... show more

When I recieved the wrenches I was impressed by the set. They were packed securely with no shipping problems. There is a great selection of sizes and they are nice and long with great looking chrome. For the price of this set it is hard to beat. These tools are much nicer than the run of the mill craftsman(although they are both made by Daniher) and they are an inch or two longer on most wrenches. They feel great in your hand and they have a nice round edge. These wrenches have "surface drive" which is Gearwrenches version of Snap On's flank drive. This is supposed to grip the fastner farther from the corners and reduce the chance of rounding off them off. The only reasons I didn't give this five stars is because of the lack of any SAE wrenches smaller than 1/2", the surface drive indentions seems to be machined eratically, a few of the wrenches have very slight waves in them, and they are made in China. I am very satisfied with this set, and completed it with all of the unicluded sizes. I would buy this again, great deal for the money. ... show more

This product has been the best wrenches I have used. One small gripe is the machining was not 100% clean, small scuff and chips when arrived( box was turn up), but nothing that would effect the integrity and operation of the tools. I can say with first hand experience, I go to see the shear load that these wrenches can take. I had to remove a 6ft moist eliminator filter and the forks for the for lift could not get close enough to lift the lid. So used 2 wrenches and put them horizontal and was able to lift the element up. I would say at least 120 lbs. ... show more
