Nice little set of hex keys. I'm not sure how well the hinged case will hold up over time, it seems a bit flimsy, but the tools themselves are solid.

I like the individual Allen wrenches better than the sets that are attached together so that you have to flip them open to use them. With them being individual I can use them and put more force on them with a boxed end wrench. For me, it's also easier to loosen or tighten an Allen bolt quicker than the sets that are attached. I had a stubborn bolt that I couldn't break free even with spraying a lubricant, and rust buster onto it and using the attached set of Allen wrenches. I bought this set from Amazon and by using a boxed end of a wrench I was able to put enormous pressure onto the Allen wrench it did not bend and I was able to free up the bolt, saving me hours in having to drill it out. ... show more

    • Seems sturdy, but covered in sticky goo from the factory
The hex keys seem fine and when I used them were stiff and don't seem fragile. But they are covered in some sticky grease from the factory - I'm not sure yet how to clean that off, but for now I'm just wearing nitrile gloves. Annoying. But the tools themselves are functional.

Exactly what i need it for, does come with a strong smel and slimy coatingl of grease from the factory. You'll have to deal with this for a while after using but great tool!

If you find yourself needing some standard allen keys, look no further. These allen keys are definitely standard, and they fit in standard bolts or screws. However, if you find yourself needing quality allen keys, scroll a little further when you search for "standard allen keys" and eventually you'll find.. any other brand. No, really. Don't get these. First and foremost, when you open these allen keys you'll get a head start on your daily yoga regimen when you pick them all up out of the floor, the cheaply made tool holder doesn't support their own weight and if you turn it over you get to pick them up when they all slide out the top. Second, they've got the worst coating I've ever seen, I used one for about ten minutes and now I have a neatly worn bolt head on my allen key. If I paid any more for these I would trouble myself for a refund, but instead of that I just chunked them in a toolbox and I'll update this review when they start to rust. ... show more
