Description

The GEARWRENCH ratcheting combination wrenches are the original patented ratcheting wrench! The ratcheting box end is designed to need as little as 5° to move fasteners versus 30° for standard wrenches. The wrenches are made from strong alloy steel with a bright, full polish chrome finish. The ratcheting box end features off-corner loading for a better grip on the fastener and reduces fastener rounding. They’re available in various lengths and styles, including: XL length, stubby, flex, stubby flex, and locking flex. Initially, I received two sets of SAE but Amazon corrected the problem immediately. The replacement set arrived faster than I could return the original! Very impressed and appreciative! Now, the wrenches...excellent range of sizes in both SAE and Metric. I just received them so long-term durability remains to be determined but the ratchet mechanisms, material of the wrenches and overall appearance is outstanding! I purchased hard-sided storage cases for both sets for portability and pleased to have them in my tool collection! The wrench hangers are just that, made to hang on the wall to hold the wrenches. I believe they'll do a good job but there is no tension or grip to hold the wrenches in place so these racks would not do well for transport. At an average cost of $7.46 per wrench, value is extremely high also. I felt the wrenches and the overall buying experience deserved a 5-star rating!! ... show more

The wrenches appear well-built, but the larger sizes have some play in the ratcheting mechanism. The included holder is awful. The polished wrenches slide around the smooth holder and move around whenever the toolbox drawer is closed. A different organizer is needed.
