  • I should have bought these hose pliers years ago.
These hose pliers have many different uses. They can grip anything from small windshield washer fluid size lines to larger heater core hoses. They are essentially needle nose pliers with twisted tips to grab the hoses. They are very well-made and grip rubber hoses tightly.

  • Handy Tools
I have turned wrenches for 35 years, never owned a set of these. Working on a E350 Mercedes there was a hose that I was really having trouble getting to so I could remove it. Bought this set of Hose removal tools. It worked perfectly to reach that hard to get at hose for me. Now that I own these I have used the 3 tools on almost every engine job I do. They worked great for removing hard to get at Spark Plugs in the GM LS engines! Those used to be hard to get out but not with these hose grip pliers. Wish I had them years ago. ... show more

  • Now less blood, damaged hoses and swearing
Chose these even though there were a number of cheaper brands to choose from because after reading reviews, other brands had common problems with oval shaped tips, tips breaking and tips not meeting. These were round and sturdy and I can't believe that I'm just discovering them after doing most of my own work for decades. Vacuum and fluid hoses can be pretty stubborn after being there for years but these hose pliers made it easy. ... show more

  • Most Used Pliers In My Garage
I’ve had a shorter set of these hose pliers for 10 years that are used almost every time I touch a modern vehicle. They are invaluable for working anywhere there are vacuum lines, EVAP lines or other tubing that needs to be removed without damage. They are also useful for holding nuts or bolts while getting them started. This Double-X set has a bit more length and better grip than my original single-joints and are even easier to use in tight spots. An invaluable tool for the auto shop! ... show more
