    • Beware of locking pin
I purchased these extensions for use in an automotive repair environment. For several months they worked well, I especially liked locking my spark plug socket onto the extension because I could pull the socket out/off the plug and not get the socket stuck in the hole However, one day performing a tune-up and changing plugs I pulled the plug out and the locking mechanism on the extension broke. The pin for the locking extension fell down into the cylinder head and rested on top of the cylinder. If your a mechanic, you know what a problem this is. Fortunately, I was able to fish the pin out when a magnet and not ruin someone's engine but, If you use these extension in this way, make sure you check your tool for issues before performing a task like this.     • 3/8 extension great after fixing design flaw.
As many stated. The pin that moves the collar that actuates the locking ball breaks. Or in my case, loosens up and went sailing across the shop. The easy fix was to tack weld the factory pin before it goes bye bye. Did this with my 1/2 and 3/8 drives. Broke two the first day I used them. After welding them, no more problems. Would have given five stars but welding on a new tool to make it usable is terrible. ... show more

Didn't even last a few months and the 6 inch one fell apart. The pin fell right out and now it's useless. Honestly used it maybe a dozen times only. Bad quality
