These have the quality I would expect from gearwrench products. I use them for spark plug sockets that have to go down into the head on large natural gas powered engines. Work great. Also keep the socket from flinging off if you’re buzzing nuts off with impact.

I LOVE GEARWRENCH!! Great priced product and very durable. I have taken these tools to the max and tried to push the limits of them and have yet to meet the limits of this companies products. The fit into the drive is snug and the locking mechanism works great!

Great idea, great functionality. Keeps me from losing sockets all the time and the lock ring is more or less the same size as a 3/8 socket base so it doesn't get in the way. These save me a lot of frustration. The only reason I gave them 4 stars instead of 5 is because I've had two now that once the rubber ring gets loose enough on the lock ring, the pin pops out and the ring just flops around. Maybe it's because I use them on an impact driver frequently or maybe it's just a defect. Annoying, but not a total loss. I fixed them by finding a pop rivet that will fit through the ring and internal mechanism (big end first of course). Don't pop them. Cut the pop rivet about 1/4 inch past the collar or so and tap flat with a small hammer. Dropping a pic of the final result, original pin is still in the center one and my mod is on the outer two. It sounds silly but I needed it to work at least until I could get a replacement, and it hasn't come apart again. ... show more
