I really liked the way that these are made. You can see its quality the moment you take them out of the box. They are really heavy and to be quite honest, I don't work on a shop so the bigger size wrenches are not something that I will be using very frequently, except for the smaller ones which are great for the battery posts and some other home application. You can apply as much force as you can to the wrench without ever fearing that it may break even if hitting it with a sledge hammer. The way that they are setup in the tray are a very good way to organize and the number printed at the front makes it very easy to locate the correct wrench right away. This is a reputable high quality not as expensive brand and the quality finish that I was able to see when I got this set attest to that. The surface does not have any burrs or imperfections. They look as if they will last for a very long time (unless you start losing them one by one as it happens very often when you do not place them on their tray when not being used) Long range of different sizes. I can't believe someone gave a one star because California prop 65. They obviously are already dreadfully impaired if they're worried about it. 2 🌟 would be 5🌟 if instead of a 23, 26, 28, & 29mm were instead a 30, 32, & 36mm respectively. I'd pay $400 for that set. Stop making wrenches nobody uses!!!!

We ordered this GEARWRENCH metric wrench set because readable wrench markings matter more than people realize. In a crowded toolbox, under a car, or in poor lighting, finding the correct size quickly saves time and irritation. The Hi-Viz markings are the main advantage here. They are large, bright, and much easier to read than the usual tiny stamped or lightly etched markings found on many wrenches. This is not revolutionary, but it is genuinely useful. The wrenches themselves feel like proper GEARWRENCH tools. The chrome finish is clean, the beams feel substantial, and the long pattern design provides good reach and leverage. The 15 degree offset helps in tighter spaces, and the 12 point box ends make positioning easier when access is limited. The foam tray is another practical feature. It keeps the set organized, makes missing tools easy to spot, and gives the drawer a clean layout. It does take up some toolbox space, but that is the tradeoff for organization. There is nothing exotic here. These are simply good metric combination wrenches with unusually easy-to-read size markings and a proper storage tray. That is enough. Sometimes the best tool upgrade is not some gimmick. Sometimes it is being able to grab the correct wrench without squinting, guessing, or dragging three sizes under the car. We also note, for the record, that we used these wrenches without suffering immediate disease, mechanical shame, or reproductive catastrophe. ★★★★★ This is a five-star deal at this price point there.

I was really disappointed to see the Proposition 65 warning about cancer and reproductive harm on these tools. I had planned to give this set to my husband for Father’s Day, and it feels ridiculous and uncomfortable giving someone a gift that comes with a warning about potentially affecting fertility or reproductive health. I understand many companies use these warnings broadly, but it definitely took away from what was supposed to feel like a thoughtful gift. Makes it feel cheap and like a bad value for the money.

This is an awesome metric set for the money that has all the sizes needed for 98% of automotive jobs. They are basic combination wrenches and super durable so I doubt you'll ever break any. Even if you somehow manage to destroy one, Gearwrench has a lifetime warranty. The polished finish is nice and Gearwrench has one of the best open end head designs for biting onto a bolt head. Now the reason we're really here - the sweet foam insert. It is awesome and satisfying to open the drawer and every wrench has its perfect place. I have 2 small nitpicks and I say nitpicks because it's not enough for me to drop a star. The foam insert will probably show up with some slight damage (see photo). These are a bunch of heavy wrenches with only a thin cardboard box so during shipping they jostled around quite a bit and tore up the foam. The foam insert is just kind of an awkward size. It measures 20.5x13.5 so it's either just slightly too large or slightly too small for just about every tool box drawer. I tired my best to organize my Gearwrench long wrenches next to them to take up the space.
