This review is for the locking 1/4 and 3/8 84t locking flexhead ratchetes . I really like the 1/4 locking flex head the head is stiff holds its position when it's not locked.Its not overly stiff when not locked the handle articulates smoothly .I have not had any issues with the head locking up or the directional lever sticking or randomly switching directions. The 3/8 version I do not like as much the head is overly floppy when not locked .I have tried tightening the pivot screw but don't want to over tighten and strip the set screw the detent can't even hold the weight of the head with out a socket. When the head is locked the ratchet functions fine. I'm not having issues with it locking up or randomly switching directions.I still think for the money there a good value and if you only use the 3/8 in the locked position it's not a bad ratchet... ... show more

The 3/8 failed. The direction lever won’t lock into position resulting in busted knuckles. Definitely would not recommend these ratchets.
