These have held up great so far to the abuse I've put them through. I am a fan of the quick release for when your hands are covered in grease and oil or when you only have one hand free. The head is very slim. The only downside is b/c the quick release button is flush with the head of the ratchet it can be hard to depress all the way on the 3/8 ratchet. I understand that they did this to keep the head slim and from being pressed while in tight areas but it can sometime be annoying if you're wear thicker gloves or your hands are busted up after a long day of work. ... show more

Excellent quality ratchet from Gearwrench. I read on some reviews about this ratchet having alittle play when inserting a socket I did not experience this at all. It was very tight fit no play at all. Gear clicking is excellent. Two 👍🏾👍🏾 up.

Standard size and the bare metal is great for greasy/oily jobs. Cleans up and looks like new. The 90 tooth is a little smoother than the older 84 tooth but the teeth are slightly smaller. Really needs no oil/lube or break-in. If you feel the need to lubricate these please use a fine oil like gun oil or at worst ATF. You don't need SuperLube on these and it will actually cause them to malfunction. The interior head space are just too tight on these ratchets above 84 tooth. ... show more
