Awesome appliance! Fit my needs. Easily installed, practical functionality, modern design, smart capabilities. This dishwasher so far (one month in with frequent use) has been all that I hoped it would be with no issues. Currently it sits on our counter top and we connect it to the sink with the included easy connect hose. This dishwasher comes with multiple fittings for your faucet in the event you need to adapt your current set up to fit the hose. Wonderful product. Easy hook up. I hooked mine up to thw water line and disposal as its a permanent appliance for me. Wash cycles are quiet and even the 30 minute quick wash cleans everything. Seems water efficient as I can visibly check the exact usage from an app I have. Its pricier than other similar models, but I can clearly see the perks of having a nicer machine. ... show more

We bought this one to replace a cheaper manufacturer that we had great service with. We have had two other counter top washers from other manufacturers that we have found last around a year before they start leaking water. We’ve have had this this one, which is considerably more expensive so time will tell, for about a month. It washes good, is quiet and easy to use. I will not that there is no place to use jet dry which is confusing but apparently that is the way it is designed. ... show more

This this is absolutely amazing! Just what I needed. I honestly waited 2 years to buy a counter top dishwasher because I just didn't trust them. GE appliances are my go to because they make quality items. We split our sick so that I didn't have to get rid of the faucet I current had and it works out fantastic. We just split the water line so that both faucets are fully functional. The dishes come out clean as long as you don't over load it... I think that's commonsense for any dishwasher. ... show more

    • Completely died within three weeks. Control board failure.
Completely died within three weeks due to a control board failure. Started having problems at week two, wouldn't turn on, wouldn't drain, came back to life then died again until it will no long power up. I will say it works very well (when it worked) at cleaning dishes. Takes a bit to learn how to stack the glasses and dishes but you get use to working in a small space. Built very well. I can't believe it only lasted a few days of use. GE did offer to come out and troubleshoot but Amazon was great and said they would come and pick it for free. I figure I'd shop for another brand and not take the chance with another unit by GE. Too bad, GE made good American products at one point, this one was DOA. ... show more

Ok; first of all, it was delivered only one day after I had ordered this so I'm very happy about that. Secondly, I had run it twice. The first time before I had ran it through, I tested the hose. At first, the 'in' water hose sprayed water all over the place so I checked it out and found it lose so I tightened it. Problem solved. Then, as it ran the first cycle, I noticed a slow leak coming from the same 'in' water part of the hose, this time, it was coming from the connection of the hose into the dishwasher and it leaked in the back, and came out in front of the dishwasher from underneath it, leaking all over my floor. When the first load of dishes was done, I read the manual to get some ideas of why it was leaking and read that you needed to tighten the hoses into the dishwasher with a pair of pliers after attaching them by hand and guess what? Problem solved! The second load: no leakage ANYWHERE! I love this little appliance and had a hard time purchasing it because it seems so pricy so when it became $100 cheaper, I took a shot at it and am SO happy I did. It's now my favorite GE appliance in the kitchen. I have 4 GE major appliances and have been happy with all of them. My favorite part of them is the smart technology in 3 of them. This lil' guy replaced an 18 inch portable standing dishwasher because my family size down sized and now there's just the 2 of us. Again, so happy, content and excited about this purchase. Usually I don’t write reviews, but after spending a lot of time researching, I purchased this (pricey) unit because the description says: “Large Capacity in a Small Footprint — Fits 6 place settings, 11” dinner plates.” Unfortunately, that’s not accurate — it definitely does not fit 11” dinner plates (see photos). That said, the dishwasher is beautiful and it cleans well. A couple design details also didn’t work for me: The soap compartment doesn’t have a closed slot for a detergent pod/tablet. It’s open, and when you close the door, the pod immediately fall to the bottom. There’s no dispenser for rinse aid (drying liquid), which really helps dishes dry faster. Overall, it’s a good machine, but it’s not the right fit for my needs, so I’ll be returning it. GE, please correct the product description regarding 11” dinner plates. ... show more

The first one I bought had a problem with the bottom of the gasket, both sides in the corners were pulled up and it leaked. Amazon sent me a new one received the next day and picked up the first one. The new one cleans great, holds my overly large plates, and it's quiet. The app for it makes using it very easy. ... show more
