  • What did we do without it? Eating better meals and decluttered the counter at the same time!
Size: Child-Lock Technology 1.0 Cu. Ft.
GE GCST10A1WSS 4-in-1 Microwave Oven, 1,050 Watts Air Fryer, Broiler & Convection Mode. Had this for 8 months now. What did we do without it? Functions perfectly and takes up no more room than the microwave we replaced. Got rid of a lot of air fryer, toaster over etc. cluttering the counter. We aren't great cooks but find we are using it more and making better meals quicker with less heat in the kitchen. Due to convection oven, the exhaust air is hotter than microwave and it's hard to read the buttons on the control panel. Easy fix, a dot of white nail polish on the 5 to navigate time and beside the "cook time", moved it out of the corner and placed below a window. It's quiet, door closes easily, and it looks great. We are very happy and are sure it will last a long time. Brag a lot about it too! ... show more

  • My microwave is better than yours.
Size: OLD 1.0 Cu. Ft
I've been using it 2-3 times a week for about 3 months and it has exceeded my expectations. 5 star review because this thing actually does everything it says it does! Who'd've thunk? You can safely purchase this. It's even easier to use than the YouTube videos would have you think. (Mostly because it's just a very reliable microwave with a capable toaster oven built in. The future is now.) I had a smaller competent LG microwave and a countertop Black & Decker convection oven (aka toaster oven with a fan) that may as well have been my brother. The microwave died. I was reluctant to get rid of my trusty Black & Decker along with the old microwave to make counter space for this but it was absolutely worth it. A couple of other reviews mention taking your time and slowly working your way through the different modes. Excellent advice. The following are test results in order of my experiencing them: Popcorn button test: 100% Nails it across multiple brands. Blindly adding time to reheat pizza test: 100% Nothing caught fire and the pizza was evenly heated. Pizza reheat button: 100% *chef's kiss* Potato button(!?): 100% Everybody needs to know how to microwave a potato. It's healthier, tastier, and more cost effective than ramen. And potatoes rule! If you weren't raised with the ancestral knowledge of microwaving potatoes, this microwave has it. Using the pre-programmed thawing for frozen meat, and bread: 95% This is never an ideal thawing method but it works really well here. Nothing was actually cooked and everything was evenly thawed. "Air fry" some frozen nuggets (from frozen): 100% Sometimes you need those nuggets from the red bag and this has your crispy childhood craving covered. Broil some diy English muffin pizzas: 100% AGAIN! Why not microwave a mini pizza? The bread gets soggy. Why not bake it? In a small convection oven like this the toppings may blow around. I hope you have learned something. "Baking" a 9x9 enchilada casserole for 30min at 350°: 100% Good grief! I was very hesitant to even attempt this but the oven in my apartment is a joke and it's summer. The cooking time and temp fell within the capabilities listed in the microwave instructions. Followed the microwave instructions for convection cooking and it came out great. Cheese bubbled on the edges, brown on top, and evenly cooked. Took it to a party. Microwaving a 16oz frozen lasagna: 100%...just because you can doesn't mean you should. Thanks for reading! If you're at all interested in it, just buy it. You'll enjoy the thrill of having an appliance that delivers on its promises and your accompanyimg sense of superiority. ... show more

  • Happy with purchase.
Size: Child-Lock Technology 1.0 Cu. Ft.
Quietest microwave I have ever used. Inside size is good. Got the microwave and air fryer features figured out, but the convection oven and broiling instructions don't exist.

  • Great
Size: Child-Lock Technology 1.0 Cu. Ft.
This is a replacement microwave, and it has an air fryer, convection, broiler, and of course the microwave. I Love all of the settings! We had to learn all over again. The reason I wanted it was THE BROILER! My range has a broiler, but it's in a stupid place and we're old and can't get on our knees to broil (are you kidding me)! The microwave broils just fine for our needs! It looks nice on our counter top. Relatively quiet . Not to big. I give it a big 👍 ... show more

  • DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT
Size: Child-Lock Technology 1.0 Cu. Ft.
As others have commented, it is very hit and miss as to whether you get a properly working product, or not. I purchased this last November, it is now February; 2 weeks past the Amazon return date.. My mistake for not checking it out sooner but it is still under the one year manufacturers warranty. During December I eagerly tried out the Air Fryer function; really bad but I assumed that was to be expected and assumed this is how hybrid Air Fryers 'just are'. Last night, with the weather warming up in Florida, we decided to cook one chicken breast for a salad and thought we would use this device instead of turning on the main oven. Set the oven to 375f as we would in the main oven, let it heat up and put the chicken in. ONE HOUR LATER, we pulled it out and it was nowhere near cooked. It takes 20 minutes in our main oven! Later, I put my barbeque probe in and set the oven to 375f. It announced it was up to temperature at 176f, I watched for a while and it maintain that exact temperature. I contacted GE Support who promptly replied that I had to call their Tier 2 support who then told me they don't repair this device, only give a certificate for part of the purchase amount paid. And this happens after I receive an email initiating the process, then send them photographs and proofs of purchase, then wait for postal mail for a certificate, then go purchase another unit (no thanks!), then postal mail back the certificate with proof of the new purchase, then wait for a check in the mail; less sales tax paid for the original unit. I asked the Agent if she was joking, and no, of course not. I expressed my disgust and she did not care one bit. I have been a proponent of GE products for years. Based on the truly dreadful experience of receiving a faulty product out of the box, the hoops I have to jump through to get a replacement - NOT A REFUND, just a certificate to buy the same unreliable thing again! I will now tell anyone that will listed to avoid this brand like the plague. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!! There are plenty of other similar products from other brands that are priced about the same and do not have these issues. It would not be possible for any other companies method of resolution of this issue to be worse. For those of you in the same boat, I recommend you review the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act . The item is over $25, GE have refused to refund the full amount amount paid, they have refused to repair the item in a timely manner, and only offer a 'certificate' requiring you to jump through too many hoops, that others mention they never receive anyway!. If enough of us take action, perhaps this companies shabby practices will be curtailed when they get hit with a ton of legal fees. ... show more
