Perfect fit on our GE Dishwasher. Remove the 2 bolts on the door, unplug the harness and the keeper for it. Pin the hinges open and side the door off. Took 15 min to install. Pay attention to the orientation when removing the old one.

    • Expensive, but easy fix
If your dishwasher is leaking slowly from the bottom during operation and you notice the seal at the bottom is disintegrated, you need to replace it. This part is expensive, but thankfully it's a pretty easy fix and is cheaper than hiring someone or replacing the whole thing.

Make sure this fits your model dishwasher, it is a solid piece made to slide in. The quality is great! If your model requires you to remove the door/screws etc to replace the seal then this is not the piece for you.

It was a 15 minute job to install. Exact replacement needed at fraction of the cost.

    • will not stay in place
it did not stop the door leak. Every time you close the door before running , you must :op" the gasket back on. If you close the door slowly, it may stay in place with a smaller leak. A 1 yr warrnty on something as essential as NOT LEAKING on a dishwasher is BS. Expensive appliances like dishwashers, refrigerators, ovens should be required to have 5 year warranties I made my own gasket finally to stop the leak.Would be nice to be able to return this $14 thin strip gasket that does not work. ... show more
