I thought the most basic would be the simplest to use, but I have to keep the meager paperwork right with it to figure out why I can’t do the most basic functions! There were days when I just gave up. Now I know that if it doesn’t detect food inside, you have to re-open and close the door or it will just keep flashing FOOD FOOD FOOD! After 12 years with the last GE Profile, I’m finally getting used to it. It’s the only microwave I could find that fits in the custom cabinetry built for the Profile, which is now a different size. ... show more

    • Works Well, But Some Condensation Issues

This works well and is the exact (small) size that I needed for my space. I love that you can silence it so that it will not beep when cooking time is up. I have noticed that, compared to my previous microwave of the same size, somewhat more moisture is left in the oven after I cook something. This is especially noticeable when I cook things like raw squash or raw eggplant, which require about 9 minutes; however, there is also a bit of moisture left behind when I cook oatmeal for only two minutes. I have developed the habit of wiping the whole inside of the oven with a dry cloth after I have done my microwaving for a meal. (I want to prevent rust development and maximize the length of time before I have to shop for another of these things, lol.) The glass plate and wheeled ring below it are quite easy to remove and replace when wiping the inside of the oven. ... show more
