    • Unless you are an electrician, find a product that is easy to install
We moved into a new house, and had to paint before we hung the mirror. I just hung it today, and though I am a DIY guy and do a lot of installs myself, this took me over 7 hours (including 3 trips to the store). The first thing I noticed when I read the instructions was to hand this on a brick wall or rock wall, something very sturdy. This means not in a bathroom because most bathrooms don't have a brick wall or rock wall. We ended up making and installing 4 oak 1X4 pedestals, about 6 inches long to screw into the studs, so that the granite raised edge on the sink could hold the weight. It would have been much easier if they created a frame that could be screwed into the studs and had the knobs for the mirror to slide on it, once it was installed. Them there was the cord. Not only was it relatively short, it was round, coming out of the back of the mirror. This created a space between the mirror and the wall, so the mirror could not hug the wall. The bottom screws into the wall had to accommodate this extra needed space. I am not an engineer, but I still could have created a better system that would make this mirror easier to hang and safer to hang. Finally, the backlit lights were nice, but not very bright. It would have been better if they were brighter. I suggest looking closely at how these heavy mirrors are mounted to the wall before you buy one, and unless you have a brick or rock wall, don't purchase this one.     • Backlight burned out fast
The media could not be loaded. I spent a lot of time Reading customer reviews on these mirrors. Most customer reviews will tell you it’s a beautiful mirror and it is, but hardly anyone waits on the review to see how the product lasts and holds up. This mirror has a two year warranty. I bought this mirror in January 2021. I also bought this mirror because the advertising on it says the back light will last for about 55,000 hours up to a decade. I just missed my warranty cut off by two weeks and the light is flickering and I can’t get it to stop it won’t turn on and it won’t turn off it just flickers. I messaged the seller and they said unfortunately my warranty is up and they can’t help me. The seller should stand by their product and what they advertised. Offer a solution or a discount…. Something. There’s so many other brands out there that are similar to this, I would check out their customer reviews on quality and warranty, because two years is hardly any time before you have to purchase another mirror or purchase another bulb. Which I haven’t looked into yet so I don’t know how expensive they are. And we’re not even close to 55,000 hours. This is a guest bathroom and the mirror is not frequently used. Which makes me think it’s faulty or defective. And the seller should replace it. That won’t. So if you’re looking for a nice back let me hear I wouldn’t buy from this seller. ... show more

I have ordered this mirror twice and both times it came broken. I offered to keep the one with a broken corner if at a discount rate since it was $600. The only option I was given was to reorder and return original. I received the second mirror and it was completely shattered and I didn’t even need to open the box to be able to see the damage. I’m in the process of returning both, but I don’t understand why I couldn’t just be discounted. Seems like a waste of money to ship these large mirrors when I could have just been discounted and could have saved all this trouble. ... show more

I love both mirrors I got for the master bath in our home. The installation was not hard but you need an electrician and a helper to put them up. They work well and they are beautiful.

    • Stopped working after 2 months

This was an expensive mirror. We had it mounted and paid an electrician to hang it and it stopped working 2 months after we bought it. We thought it was the socket so we had to pay the electrician AGAIN to come out only to find that the mirror itself was faulty. Really frustrating!
