This juicer works pretty well and has a good price point for what you get. It seems put together well but did have some scuffs which made it looked a bit pre-owned, so one star knocked off for that. It was easy to disassemble and clean before the first use and easy to put back together. There is a built in safety feature that stops the machine from working if you do not lock the silver bar in place - helpful because I forgot when i had to check it half way through (see below). I decided to try the first recipe in the included recipe booklet - Apple, Carrot and Celery Juice. I got a lot of juice from the food and the pulp was pretty dry, which I think is a good sign. It was rather noisy but I guess that is the nature of grinding something to a pulp. A lot of the pulp got stuck to the back of the lid but it was easy to clean out. I had to stop it half way through doing the apples as it seemed to get stuck. The apple was small enough to drop through the chute at a little over 2 inches, but it seemed to get stuck at the bottom of the chute and I had to take it apart to retrieve it. The juice itself filled a 16oz glass but I didn't like it! That's just personal taste. I found the disassemble after use easy but the clean up was not so easy - I had a hard time getting everything out of the micro-mesh filter to the point were I found it a little off putting.

I picked up the GDOR juicer wanting a fuss-free way to get fresh juice… no more sitting around waiting. I chop my apples and carrots into big pieces, drop them in, flip the switch, and in seconds I’ve got a cup of bright, smooth juice. It’s like having a juice bar at home without the wait. What I love most is how much juice I get from the same produce… I used to wonder if half my juice would end up in the compost, but I think almost every drop winds up in my glass. Cleanup is almost as quick as the juicing… the main parts pop off, I rinse them under the tap, and they’re ready for next time. It’s not perfect… the machine does make some noise when it really gets going, so I try to run it after the baby’s nap. This juicer arrived exactly as described. Out of the box everything snapped together perfectly using the provided instructions. I decided to try some less popular foods to juice to put it through its paces so the first one was onions. 2 mere seconds later a large yellow onion was..... Juice!! I put in the carrots next. Another 2 seconds and we had carrot juice ( which is WAY sweeter than I thought it would be)! The parts all unsnap easily and are dishwasher safe. There is a provided little cleaning brush for the wire colander which you will need to use. Overall I can see the quality of this juicer lasting a long time. I highly recommend this juicer if you need one for a mega juice project!

I wasn't really sure what to expect since I've never owned or used a juicer before. Initially I just ran some apples through it since was what I had on hand. It's pretty loud but got the job done. After shopping I tried some other fruits and veggies and it seems things that are a bit softer or less dense seem fine but stuff like carrots seemed to be more difficult and it tsounds like the machine is bogging out. So I def wouldn't give it 5 stars but I would give it a 1 either. I imagine iy will be fine as long as I stick to softer produce.
