I wanted two small chairs that recline to use for watching TV or reading, and these work for me. The color is perfect for my room, and the size is exactly what I was looking for. It took maybe 16 minutes from opening the box to fully assembled. You only have to screw on the legs and push the back into place. The directions were extremely clear, and the chairs were very well packed. I read several reviews that said they were difficult to push back to recline, and I don’t agree. I had no difficulty pushing them into the reclining position once I figured out how they worked. I will say that if you are over maybe 5’ 5”, they might not be the most comfortable for you. I’m 5’ 4”, so they work for me. The cushions are firm, so I put a throw pillow on the back for a little extra comfort, but I think these are great for the price. ... show more

Needed a chair quickly for Christmas company and was pleasantly surprised when this push back recliner arrived. Color, fabric and size was exactly as described. Easy to assemble, supports 300 lbs and the color was perfect! The back is very straight up and down without a lot of padding so I put a small pillow on the back and that made it much more comfortable. I had a 6'4" tall man over 200 lbs sitting in it comfortably. Great purchase for getting an item quickly and perfect for a small space! Would recommend and would purchase again! ... show more

Chair is visually great, reclines easily and seems good quality but is very firm. However , liked it enough to order a second. Unfortunately I had to return the second because they sent the wrong color. Dark grey was sent instead of Light grey tweed.

This chair makes a nice splash of color in my small bedroom. I assembled it by myself in about 10 minutes. It is on the firm side but I don't mind that and it is a little stiff to open but it might loosen up over time. I'm 5'4 and if it's me well but it does not fit my husband who is 6'5. I'd say anyone over 6 ft tall should consider a bigger chair. I placed it close to the wall and it still opened without hitting it. I think I will buy another one in a different color for my other bedroom. ... show more

I'm absolutely in love with this chair! I've always wanted a bright yellow reading chair for my library. It's pricey but it makes my heart so happy, which makes it worth it. The only reason I'm giving it 4 instead of 5 stars is because it's slightly annoying to recline. I wish there was a lever to it or that you could lean back and it would auto-recline. But no, you have to pull the bottom part out manually which is difficult to do when you're already sitting on it. And if you do it before you sit on it, you have to kinda hop onto the chair. Annoying but overall I'm still in love with it. It's super comfy too, but I would definitely add a chair pillow for added support. Assembly took all of 10 mins, its basically just clicking things into place and adding the legs. ... show more

First of all, it's a fine chair. I spent literally hours researching every Mid Century Modern chair online. I chose this one for a retro, Mid Century Mod Man Cave. I intend to use it primarily to watch TV. I needed one that doesn't take up much room. So, here are some observations I was looking for when shopping, all in one place...... Chair is exactly as described. Extremely well packed and arrived super fast in 2 days by Fedex. Box was in perfect condition. I put the box on it's side and carefully cut open the top and bottom, and the chair parts slid out easily. It is in only 2 pieces, seat and back, so very easy to assemble by yourself. Just attach 4 legs and drop the back into the seat. I chose a recliner to lay back at times to watch TV. It reclines easily, with just a push back, and easily returns to upright. No issue with it not "locking into place" when reclined, as many other chairs seem have comments on. It simply stays where you put it. NOTE: I AM 5 ft. 11" AND MY HEAD IS UNSUPPORTED WHEN RECLINED. Unfortunately this is a feature I was hoping for, but I suppose it is a compromise for the smaller size. With just a couple of inches short, I will have to purchase a small pillow to support my head while reclined. No deal breaker. I've done this before. I would have liked to know this beforehand, though. Otherwise at 5, 11 and 200 lbs, the chair is plenty big enough for me. The chair is comfortable with just enough firmness, but with plenty of cushion. The retractable footrest is fine and hits my legs in a comfortable position. If you are considering this chair, other than the height of the back, I find no cons, and would highly recommend this one. Hopefully, all my time and research will pay off in saving you some time.
