We did our reseach on YouTube and decided on the Gazelle T4 both for size, durability and ease of set up. They say it goes up in 90 seconds. I don't think it took my husband and I that long. We had watched the videos and knew what needed to happen and I'll bet it didn't take 30 seconds. Tons of "windows", the floor part separates so that it can be cleaned (we are going to be camping with dogs so this was important to me), it's tall on the inside and square so you get all the space...not just the middle part. My husband is 6' and I'm 5'5 and there is a ton of height to spare on the inside. We plan to use a very large (thick) blow up queen mattress and our two big dogs will be inside sleeping with us...plenty of room. The corner doors are a little awkward and our old dog will probably have some issues but the door and screen both tie back separately. The only noticeable thing that wasn't pleasing are all of the little snags in the mesh...I imagine these will get much worse with use and so we'll just live with them...it's camping...not the Ritz. The bag is nice and sturdy, roomy so you can actually get everything back in it without a wrestling match. Taking it down barely took any longer than putting it up. I have been tent camping for for over 40 years, have owned many different types of tents, and this is my favorite of all. I (a 75 year old woman) have easily set it up by myself in less than a few minutes, it's well ventilated, has two doors, zippers that work well, is sturdy, and even has a removable floor. AND we can stand up in it. I love that if we remove the rain cover, we can see the stars above because the top is mesh. Two other handy features are the ceiling loop for a lantern and four spacious side pockets for stuff. My new spouse, who had no experience with tent camping until this month, is a new convert to the experience. We originally wanted a smaller tent for just the two of us, but the two-person tent does not allow you to stand up. We are glad we went for the T-4 because it gave us enough room to pull our chairs into the tent when the bugs came out. (While the floor looks sturdy enough to handle this, we did put a blanket under the chairs to prevent any harm to the floor.) We found a good footprint to put under the tent. It is 8'4" square, made by Castlerock and called the Kingdom 4 Footprint. It was about $60, but well worth it for the convenience and quality. We found it at REI ... show more

This tent blows me away every time I use it. Ridiculously easy and fast set up. Roomy and tall (I'm 6'3 and can stand up fully). Ample windows for keeping it aired out and cool. Tons of storage space with generous mesh cubbies. It's easy(ish) to clean too if you can muscle it upside down and shake the debris out the door. I also love that it has removable (but reliable) floors to keep water out. Never had an issue with water leaking in even in the rainy PNW. The best part? It's sturdy and well made. After 5 years of use, this thing doesn't have a single bit of wear on it. Seams are in tact, poles still sturdy. If I hosed it down it would look brand new. That's unbelievable for a large tent under $300. I've had spendy name brand tents that started to fall apart in half that time.
