  • You won't go wrong with this one
Style: Soft Roll-Up Size: 5' 10" Bed
The quality of this cover is great, it works as designed and looks great on my truck. It was easy to install with a 1/2" and 9/16" wrench being the only tools needed. The instructions were easy to read and follow. The price was reasonable although there were lower priced ones available. I chose this one because it has a 10 year warranty on the tarp and lifetime warranty on the frame. Some of the others didn't even mention a warranty. It was packaged good and arrived undamaged 3 days early. Kudos to the seller for the prompt shipping. ... show more

  • I haven't experienced this high of a quality product in years.
Style: Hard Quad-Fold Size: 5' 10" Bed
I rarely write a product review and felt compelled to write this review as I'm so impressed with the design and quality of this bed cover. It took less than an hour to install and it fit like a glove on my 2023 GMC Sierra 1500 with the pro tail gate. I've had other covers on my previous trucks and this one is superior in so many ways. It's constructed of all aluminum so it will out-last the soft cover ones. Looks great installed as it lays even with the bed top. Each section locks to the bed so that you can ride with the cover folded once, twice, or even with it fully open and resting against the cab (struts lock it in place so that you can actually ride with it fully open). The fact that you can fully open it to rest on the cab means that you will rarely have to fully remove it to access the full bed The quality of the cover is way superior to most of what is produced today. This cover will outlast any of the soft, non-metal top covers (and hard covers that have a non-metal overlay) where the stitching starts to decay rapidly. It is well worth the higher cost. ... show more

  • Great product with 1 Hiccup
Style: Soft Tri-Fold Size: 5' 10" Bed
Ok, let's go over this cover. Arrived 1 day ahead of schedule, so that was great! The construction seems sturdy, and the material is thick enough to last some time. Installation is pretty straight forward, as they have a video available right here on this listing! It's light enough that 1 person can install this as it only requires lifting it across the front of the bed. At worst case, just set it in the bed and place it from there. Placement went simple enough. Not rocket science here. I've seen some folks post that they didn't like that it didn't follow the contours of the new style beds. I have no complaints. Front latch hooks are easy to install, just don't over tighten them. You could possibly warp the cover rails. The instructions can be a bit vague about this. When they say to tighten til the clamp touches the bed rails, do they mean snugly? And then 2 full turns. I did mine snugly, then 2 turns. Please note, in the Written Instructions included, they have a warning! If you have a bedliner, or a rail cover (as the 2019 models do), to ensure the clamps are tightened to the metal bed, and if required, to cut a small piece out of the liner/rail cover to allow proper clamping to the metal bed. It clearly states this. Otherwise, the cover will eventually blow off! I see this has already happened in the comments. The front latches. Here's where the hiccup came into play. As you see in the photo, even with the cover fully forward, the aft latches will only connect to the Bed Rail cover. They needed to be moved back to connect to metal. Uh Oh. Quick call to Gator, and Jake answered promptly. Explained the situation, he asked for some photos which I sent. They also answered promptly here on Amazon. You can actually move these latches to any position. With the following steps as indicated in the photos. 1) Fold the back section. If you look at the clamp You will find a self tapping screw. If you remover the screws from both sides, you can slide the latch/bar assembly. At this point, note that Gator stated you can disassemble that entire section. Then flip it over and have easier access. I took the lazy way out as I didn't feel like fighting with the cover. It's like ultra high strength weather stripping which is a pain. 2) loosen the screws all the way out with a long Phillips. Not an easy task, but persistence pays off. Note the the assembly still will not slide until the screws are fully removed. This created an issue as there is absolutely no room to get to them, except the bottom. So.... 3) jury rigged a tool using an old set of feeler gauges, drilled a hole in the end large enough to fit the screw, but small enough not to slip over the screw head. Put a bend in it, and slipped it under the assembly. A little pulling and turning of the screw and it pops right out. 5) I marked original position of the assembly, then slid it forward a whole section length. Checked for fit. It engaged the metal bed rail, but was touching that metal hump, so I slid it another 1/4 inch. 6) Marked center position where the screw goes into slot. Checked where original screw hole was. Moved assembly out of way. 7) Drilled a couple of tap holes. Probably best to put the screws in and tighten them just to break in the new holes. 8) Slide the assembly into place aligning that bracket slot with your mark for the new hole. Now, that screw will not fit in that slot. It goes in underneath, so I used that home made tool to hold the screw til I could get it started. It is a pain. I'm not sure if they are even necessary as some folks state that theirs slide freely from the beginning. I can't see them needed for strength, as there's really no tension on the latches when closed. All in all totally pleased with the cover and the support that was given. I'm not sure if it was a glitch at the manufacturer, or a change Chevy made with the bed. Regardless, the issue was solved. ... show more

  • 2025 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Z71 Review
Style: Hard Tri-Fold Size: 5' 10" Bed
Quality seems solid overall. Rail systems are simple and fairly easy to install. The design isnt perfect for these Silverados. The clamp nearest the tailgate cannot be mounted close enough to the end leaving a little play in the rail. This can make the locking functionality difficult. I would add those cork pad strips they give you to these areas and it will help. Not sure how it will do long term but I was able to get it working as designed. Same issue with the water management tubes. Clamps are too close to allow easy install. The weight is light enough for one person to install. Its easy to clean and looks great. Very low profile. ... show more

  • Looked great at first but turned out to be junk
Style: Hard Tri-Fold Size: 5' 10" Bed
When I first bought this Gator EFX tri-fold cover for my 2021 Silverado I was happy with it. The install went smooth, the fit was right on, and it gave the truck a nice sleek look. I even rated it 5 stars in the beginning because it seemed solid and well made. For a while I honestly thought I had made the perfect choice. Fast forward and now it’s a completely different story. The screws started coming loose and falling out, which should never happen on something like this. Then the pull strings that are supposed to open the cover stopped working. That basically makes the whole thing useless since you can’t even open it properly. What really frustrates me is that this truck bed cover has barely been used. I don’t open my tailgate all that often, so there’s no excuse for it to wear out this fast. It feels like this cover was made more for looks than actual use. Sure, it still looks good sitting on the truck, but what good is that if it can’t even function the way it’s supposed to? When you buy a hard tri-fold cover you expect durability and reliability, not for it to fall apart after minimal use. I was expecting a product that could hold up for years and actually protect my truck bed. Instead it’s been a waste of money. Really disappointing experience. If all you want is something that looks nice in the driveway, maybe it’s fine. But if you need a tonneau cover that actually works and lasts, I would recommend looking at something else. ... show more

Looks great and easy installation will come back after it’s been in service for a while as the last one the thread came apart and could not get a hold of the manufacturer to get there warranty to fix it
