The GFW-MIC-0022 Telescoping Microphone Boom Arm by Gator Frameworks provides a heavy-duty, steel boom arm designed to fit any standard mic stand with 5/8”-27 male threads at the top of the stand. Two stages of boom length adjustment help you achieve both close-up and more distant mic positions. Its locking tilt mechanism lets you get just the right angle for those more precise mic placements, making it great for any application – studio, podcast, streaming, gigging – Frameworks does it all!

This is a great addition to the best mic stand of the same brand. I have seven of these at my church job. My choir members are able to adjust these easily. They love the rubber coated knobs that turn easily and lock easily. I am completely satisfied!

On the plus side it looks pretty sturdy and does attach to a standard mic stand. On the minus side it doesn’t stay up unless you tighten it to the point where I feel it’s over tightened. I had a SM58 mounted on it and the next day it had moved down to where it sat on the keyboard.
