  • very good mic stand
Style: Standard Boom
bought this mic arm for my studio I'm currently building and i got to say, what a great investment! i do have the Shure sm7b and its a heavy mic cause of its shell but don't let that stop you from buying this mic arm for the mic specifically but any other mic will work fine even the condenser mic's will work good as well! its easy to adjust, easy setup less than 5 min, very sturdy and perfect mic stand! ... show more

  • Good brand, great vendor!
Style: Telescoping Boom
I have many items from this manufacturer and have been happy with the quality. I tend to be rough on gear, especially after a long night of performance but gator keeps on going strong. This was purchased for my home studio so it should last for years! I am also a huge fan of Sweetwater and usually order directly from this vendor (fantastic customer service and knowledgeable staff) ... show more

  • One Hand Adjustment
Style: Deluxe Telescoping Boom
Our Band ordered 4 of these and so Far we love them. Quick one hand height adjustment is great. You don't have to crank the boom knob down with both hands to keep boom tight like other stands. Very stable.

Good quality so far...

  • Heavy duty
Style: Telescoping Boom
This stand is heavy duty and I think I'll be very happy with it. I purchased the stand to make video's with a blue yeti microphone. The stand itself is heavy and dies not appear flimsy at all. I can see how screwing and unscrewing parts may wear the connections overtime. My suggestion - try not to break it down completely on a regular basis and try to leave the components screwed together if you can. I see no reason why this stand can't last me years for my personal use and out perform a cheaper, more flimsy microphone stand. ... show more

  • Worth the price - hands down
Style: Telescoping Boom
There are certainly some cheaper mic stands on the market, but the quality of these is way better. I use Shure SM7B’s - and these accommodate the weight of those mics. Very easy to break these down for travel - and super easy to adjust height and boom length. So glad I got these….

  • Sturdy and attractive
Style: Standard Boom
Very robust and sturdy stand, and it looks great too. I know there is a more expensive version too, but these are so much better than the stands I grew up with I can't imagine anything better.

  • Shake, rattle and return
Style: Deluxe Tripod
This mic stand rattled. Not sure if that was a unit defect or a design flaw. But even minimal floor noise caused a rattle within the stand that the microphone captured. Seemed to be the narrower shaft inside the outer body jiggling with even slight toe-tapping on the floor. Probably should have had some kind of damper, but didn't. A mic shock mount made some difference, but I expect a better build for the money. What's worse, the legs were floppy. They'd stay extended but weren't snug when retracted. Shoddy. I returned and went with K&M. ... show more
