Says seal is included. Paper gasket which seals thermostat in the thermostat housing IS NOT included in the box. VERY MISLEADING!! Ad says it's a 195 degree thermostat. Nowhere on the box nor stamped on the thermostat does it say 195 degrees. After installing and refilling with new antifreeze the temperature gauge in ranger barely moves which means I have to start all over again with AN HONEST REAL thermostat installation or my defroster is going to suck next winter. SHAME ON YOU!!! ... show more

I replaced my thermostat housing and thermostat at the same time, first time this caused my heaters not to work and it stayed open; I assumed this was operator error. I took it all off replaced the gasket again cleaned it all up and reinstalled taking my time on everything still no heat and it stayed open. Just to make sure it was an issue with the part I installed the old one and I got heat and everything worked as it should. If I could I would give this no stars, DO NOT BUY. ... show more

I bought this because my engine was running cold. After I installed it the engine ran colder. I put the old thermostat back in.
