This hinge set arrived well packaged in a snug box, and each piece was wrapped in a soft spongy material to protect the flawless powder coated finish. Both carriage bolts are included and wrapped with one of the hinges. The amazon listing photos don't do them justice, these things are very well built, heavy duty thick steel and they're beautiful! The bolt in the center is grade 8.8 and comes with a locknut and the thick washers between the pieces allow for smooth operation. In the last photo I'tried to show one of the welds, and the rest are all equally smooth and uniform. This hinge set is much nicer and stronger than anything i have foumd in a big box hardware stores, and should provide many years of reliable service!

I’m surprised by the quality of these hinges. I ordered them to redo an old gate that was sagging but when I got them and saw how really nice they are I decided to use them on a gate I’m installing on the walkway to the front door. It’s been my experience that high quality, heavy duty, and attractive, hinges are expensive. With these you get all that at a super price.

These are super strong they show them for a small gate but you could use this for a large gate easily up to 150 lbs . Just make sure your steel post your install it on or wood can support the gate you install. These are priced much better than box stores and I'm happy to find them on Amazon . They are made very well and I'm happy with the quality especially for the great price.
