With the sharp edge of the blade you can easy cut Brie cheese etc. You can pick up cheese with the pointy top of the slicer. GastroMax incredibly useful utensils are made of food approved plastic. They are perfectly suitable for non stick surfaces and always has a clever design. The utensils can withstand up to 260oC and are dishwasher safe.

I originally bought an awesome plastic cheese slicer when visiting a friend in Stockholm Sweden a few years ago. I still have it but wanted a back up in case it got lost (two small kids so this is not impossible). I went onto Amazon to find a plastic slicer and surprisingly this was the only one on offer and it WAS THE SAME AS MY PREVIOUS!!!! Much safer than metal ones, and will never rust. This is really the best cheese plane I've ever found. I do not remember where I bought my first one but after using it for several years I decided to buy another for myself and our children. A very good cheese slicer. Been used for years. The only "downside" for the white one is if you use a lot of orange/yellow cheeses it dyes the underneath of the slicer. Still a great slicer though.

use this cheese slicer for cutting medium to hard cheeses. It's an amazing slicer. its well worth the price and it looks cheap but we've had ours for over a year and it looks exactly the same and works wonderfully.
