I really don’t like seeing old sheds or worn-out dog houses near the main house, which is why I chose this one. It’s stylish, neat, and looks wonderful next to our porch. My husband assembled it quickly, and it seems like our dog loves it too. I also like the little porch area where the dog can relax during the day. Thanks to this, we don't need to buy an additional mat. And the transparent blinds are a great touch — they protect from rain and wind while still letting in light. I think it was a great purchase and we are happy with our choice.

It’s easy to put together, not very sturdy but not too flimsy either. Not high quality but pretty. Few different broken pieces that I had to wood glue and add a couple of screws for stability. It’s not worth what I paid.

Very well built with easy to understand instructions. This is the best doghouse we have ever had as it has been able to withstand the high winds which we get. Kept our dog safe and warm with the most current storm we had. Buy this doghouse and you wont regret your purchase

I bought this wooden dog house for my 5-year-old German Shepherd, and it’s been holding up well. It feels sturdy and gives him plenty of space to stretch out comfortably. The raised floor keeps it dry, and the roof has handled a few rain showers without any leaks. He seems to enjoy relaxing in it, especially on cooler days.

The media could not be loaded. Actually 4.5 Stars. This dog house is really well made overall and a good value for the price. The panels are 1/4" thick western red cedar with a nice light cedar smell, trimmed in black stained pine. The roof is asphalt and has held up fine even when my husky hops up on it like she did back in Alaska. Assembly is straightforward since the panels have pegs for alignment and you just run the included gold coated screws into the predrilled holes. I used my power drill and had it together in about 20 minutes taking my time. No issues with splitting wood or stripped holes. The porch is where I docked a half star. The center support is only stapled to a thin cedar strip and after a few uses it popped loose. Now when my dog steps on it the planks flex and sag which could easily pinch a paw or toenail. I’ll end up screwing in a thicker center support to fix it. For now, I left it uninstalled. Recommendation to manufacturer: If you built the porch like the removable floor section with fully screwed support, this would be an easy 5 star product. My husky is a retired sled dog who lived in a dog house most of her life, and even though she spends most of her time on the couch now, I wanted her to have something familiar. She went right in, though she isn’t a fan of the PVC strip curtain. She’s never had a flap on her house before so it throws her off, but it’s a good idea for blocking wind and rain and other dogs may have no issue with it. I may just take it off to make her more comfortable. The window has chicken wire over it which is more of a safety feature than anything. It keeps a paw from going through but it won’t stop bugs since the mesh openings are too wide. I do like the small details like the adjustable feet for leveling on uneven ground and the way the floor panel comes out for easy cleaning. I also coated all the wood with log oil so water beads right off and the cedar should last longer. Overall, this is a solid dog house at a price where you really couldn’t build one yourself after buying cedar, pine, asphalt shingles, hardware, stain, brushes and the time it would take to build it. Just know you might want to reinforce the porch right away unless the manufacturer takes care of it for you after seeing this review. Other than that, it’s a sharp looking house that keeps my husky dry and comfortable while giving her something that reminds her of her old home. Definitely satisfied with it and so is she!
