What I’d like most is the balance of size and usefulness: enough capability for common jobs without taking over the bench. For shelves, brackets, repairs, hobby builds, and farm/garage tasks, it should be much more accurate and easier to control than a handheld drill. My honest take: if you need a budget-friendly drill press for everyday homeowner use, this is a smart pick. Just go slower on thick steel and use sharp bits like any small bench unit. ... show more
