I am obsessed with this rug. It is absolutely gorgeous. It is very soft and thin if you want it thicker put something under it but I did want it thin. The colors are beautiful. It makes my room look great. I did not ever notice any weird smells. It's exactly the size it says it is.

Colors are very nice. Design is detailed. Super soft feel. No overpowering odor when opened. Doesn’t slide around. Easy to vacuum. Not a fan of how it’s folded and packaged. It came out of the plastic pretty badly creased. Most of them came out after a few days by just letting it sit flat on the floor, however there is one place where it was folded very tightly that doesn’t lay flat. I tried all of the suggestions of placing something heavy on it and using an iron. I even let it sit in the heat of the sunshine that comes through the window but nothing has worked. I haven’t needed to wash it so don’t know if that will work or not. Overall, this is a pretty nice rug and I’m happy with it. ... show more

I took advantage of a black friday special on this rug. It was only $58 and worth every penny. We have a long living room and the 8x10 size is perfect. Makes it feel like a more balanced space. I would recommend getting a carpet pad or something with a little cushion to go under the rug if it is going on hard floors as it is super thin. But at the price I paid, I cannot and am not at all complaining. The design is beautiful and even though the rug is very thin, the material is very soft.
