It was super easy to install, it blows super cold , my room is about 12’ x 14’ . The A/C is not too noisy ( noise is subjective but I’ve had a few different portable a/c’s and this one is truly not too bad !) the instruction come with a phone number and an email for issues or questions . Harvey also has an extended warranty as well that they say is “hassle free” I would definitely recommend this portable A/C ! ... show more

Terrible! No way this is 8000 BTUs. I decided to replace an older, 5000BTU window unit in my 100 sq ft sunroom that had reached its end of life. This unit doesn't even keep up as good as the older unit that was on its last leg. It can't get the temp below 90 degrees. Its also incredibly loud when the compressor kicks in. The exterior plastic fittings aren't aligned. Well guess what... the original box is gone, the exhaust plate had to be cut to fit my window so... I can't return it. I just lost my money for a piece of junk. DO NOT BUY THIS UNIT! Btw... I have a similar unit in my garage from a different manufacturer that works just fine. ... show more

We purchased two of these after our mini split system broke down. We decided to go with these instead of the traditional window units. No heavy lifting! Couldn’t be happier. Easy to install, seems to be running efficiently. Cooled down the rooms rather quickly. Pieces arrived broken. The plastic piece that sits in the window was crushed. I contacted Garvee and it took them two weeks of back and forth to tell me they can’t ship a replacement part. They initially told me they shipped a part, and days later would come back and say “the shipment failed” and they’ll try again. After two weeks of back and forth they said they’re unable to ship a part. I can return the entire item to Amazon but it’s quite heavy to carry to the UPS store. Would not recommend this seller as they will not send replacement parts. ... show more

Just set it up and dang this thing is small but pumps out the cold air. I purchased for a bedroom to Kool it down during gaming and it will do the job! 💪 The hardware to install is good and easy. I recommend this unit for a good size room 350sqft. Or smaller.

Cooling performance is poor. Did ok while in bedroom with help of my central unit. Moved to workshop, it was 78 degrees inside this morning it is now 83 degrees. Work shop building is only 16x16. Vent hose is warm and getting good condensate flow, it just won't cool room.
