They no longer have the model that i ordered for selection to purchase but the air unit i received works very well. Setup was simple and the instructions were clear and easy to follow. The package comes with everything needed to use and setup the portable air conditioner. The remote is well made and works great. There are several different settings and options for temperature which is great. The unit doesn't weigh a ton so it is easy to move from room to room, even if you have to pack it up stairs. There are also some wheels on it so it is easy to roll it if you can't pick it up. Overall this is a very good quality air conditioning unit, it works great and is easy to use and setup. In my opinion this air unit is a good value and I would recommend this product!

This AC unit is good, the noise level is acceptable and the installation is very easy. I got a few AC units from this particular brand and they all work really good, the window installation is easier when you first attach the tow ending pieces to the hose and then plug that to unit and window. This works for me really good as an alternative to the old swamp cooler that is I talked in my house, here in the dry New Mexico desert we don’t need to be changing the draining water too often, so for us is not a big deal to empty a water jug once or twice a week. This unit cools off my large room and keeps us fresh day and night, it had different modes and also a remote to control the settings from the comfort of my bed, really convenient and good quality. The packaging is great and my unit arrived safe and in good condition, I m satisfied with this portable AC unit and definitely thinking about buying a bigger one for my den.

This portable air conditioner comes with several accessories to install it in various sized windows and is very intuitive to change between the various modes on the touch panel or via the included remote and batteries. Everything is made of high-quality construction materials, thick plastic (filters, window unit kits, exhaust hose), smooth wheels, and sturdy power cord. I must note that the instructions and a message on the shipment box containing the whole unit mentioned to keep the unit upright at all times. If it is tilted or laid down, it says to wait a full 24 hours before turning on the air conditioner to allow oil to return to the compressor. I didn't realize this until receiving it, but I ended up waiting 24 hours after receiving the shipment before using it just in case the unit was laid down at all during the process of getting to me. Other things to note were that the instructions suggested not to use continuous drainage when the unit is in cool mode to ensure that enough water recycles to enhance the cooling effects. This might be normal, but it, along with everything else in the instructions, were nicely presented with appropriate bullet points, pictures, and organization. So many aspects are made convenient for the owner. There are 4 caster wheels that roll in any direction very easily when you push the unit. There is a clear touch panel at the top of the unit to set the modes (cool, dehum, fan), fan speed (low, high), tempterature up and down, timer, and the power. Also, there is a remote control with 2 AAA batteries included to control from a distance. The sleep timer is very easy to set. Just press the timer button and increment from 1 to 24 hours and let it be. The air conditioning controls from 62 to 86 degrees visually on the unit but is not represented in numerical form on the remote (only up and down buttons). The drain hose included is a 13mm drain hose and easily attaches. The filter slides in and out of the unit very nicely to be cleared of debris every 2 or so weeks of use. Also, the temperature can be displayed in Celsius or Fahrenheit if would like. From my own energy tests, I found this energy was produced from these settings: - Air Conditioning Cool - Low = 720W - High = 742W - Fan = 109W The instructions suggested to store the whole unit back in its original box. I didn't read this until I cut the box open to get to the instructions. It would be nice if there was a bag or box to organize all of the accessories or somehow allow them to be hooked onto the side of the unit. It would be very easy to misplace the variety of sizes of items that come with the unit. All said and done, this whole thing is as very close to plug and play as it gets. It runs well. It runs quiet. It has a lot of great options. Solid unit all around.

Overall, this portable AC unit is great. The only thing I'm going to pick on is the noise level is a bit louder than I'd like, but it's just a white noise, so you get used to it pretty fast. I don't know if any other unit would be any quieter either. I've been using this to cool a bedroom that gets a lot of direct sunlight so it heats up more than any other room. This unit has more than enough power to cool a bedroom and could probably handle a couple of rooms. It might not make two rooms ice cold, but it would help. One room though, this is perfect. The exhaust is nice and slim too, so you don't have to open up the window very far or have an eyesore showing through either. The slim exhaust is also nice because I can keep the blinds mostly closed to help keep the hot sunlight out. The remote control is a bit unnecessary for me, but I suppose it's a nice thing to have. Overall, this unit is great for cooling a small room

I got this portable AC unit as more of a backup plan than anything else. After trying it out I can say it’s a solid upgrade from a basic swamp cooler. It’s not going to replace a full window unit or central air system, but it definitely has its place, especially if you know what to expect going in. The biggest thing is that this works best in a smaller area or when you’re close to it. If you’re sitting nearby, you’ll feel a noticeable difference pretty quickly. I’ve been able to get the temperature in the surrounding space down into the mid-70s in about a 100 to 200 square foot room. This does act as a relief during hot days. It’s not meant to cool an entire house. But for a room, a workspace, or a specific area, it does the job adequately well. I do like the dual dehumidifier. Living in a humid area, this makes a huge difference. I keep it set around 50% humidity in a pantry area i have and you can truly see how much moisture it’s pulling out of the air. The room feels more comfortable and it helps with the temperature drop. Setup is pretty straightforward, but you do need to plan for the drainage. There’s an 'exhaust' hose that has to run out a window, so it’s not something you can just place anywhere without thinking ahead. It does come with a kit for window placement of the hose. I have also set it up using a bucket, but you need to keep an eye on the water level. A/C mode it is not to bad, the dehumidifier you need to keep a close eye on it. As far as noise level, it’s not silent, but it’s also not loud or annoying like some large window A/C units. I would describe it as a steady white noise, which I didn't mind. I am going to use this unit as an emergency option. During the summer, power outages or possible hurricanes can be rough and this gives me a reliable way to stay cool when hooked up to a generator. It’s also nice to have as a backup if your main AC ever goes down. Overall, this seems to be a useful unit if you understand its limits. It’s not a full replacement for central air, but it’s a big step up from a swamp cooler. It works well for targeted cooling.

The window frames in my house don't support window air conditioners very well, so these portable units are so much better suited for me. When I did try and use window units, it warped the vinyl frame in two of my windows and now they don't have a good seal when they close. In the winter cold air comes right through and I get frost on them. And that was from just a few months with window AC's in them. I can't imagine how badly they be damaged if I put air conditioners in them year after year. These portable units are far more gentil to my windows. The only wight my window have to support now is a panel that the hose connects to for ventilation. No 45 lb box of steel hanging half way out the back. Speaking of hanging out, these portable units also look better from the outside of the house. The windows just look closed, not like they have appliances hanging in them. This 8000 BTU system has been plenty powerful to cool down the kitchen and dining room in my home. I've found they work especially well when you start them in the morning before it gets super hot out, and have them just maintain the house's temperature throughout the day. Rather than have the house get really hot and then try and cool it down fast. Theis AC does have a remote control, and the rage with it is very good. I can be standing in the kitchen cooking and adjust the settings on the AC that's set up in the far window of my dining room. The dogs even love this, and lay in front of it on hot days when it's on. They can tell the cool air is coming from it, and like sleeping in front of it. Works great!

I got this to replace my old portable A/C unit that I use in my garage. So far I like it. While it's still pretty cold in my area I can tell this unit is going to do a better job than my old one. I like how this unit vents from the front instead of the top as I personally like feeling the air blowing on me while I work. This unit is also quieter than my last one even on high. I like how it also has a dehumidifier function as some days it can feel humid in my garage. The water that it collects from the air is also suppose to help the unit cool better. This unit is also smaller and lighter than my last one so it's easier on my back if I have to pick it up, though it has wheels so I shouldn't have worry about that too often. The remote seems to reach pretty far though I probably won't use it too often. This unit would be good for for apartments or rooms that don't have central A/C which I lot of places in my area do not have. I think this is a better option to window shaker units since it is easier to move between spaces and you would only need to use it in rooms your using at that time. Installing the exhaust hose into the window is super easy and it actually fit in my vertical sliding windows unlike my last unit. Overall for the price I think this A/C unit is a solid option especially when compared to others that does the exact same thing.
