I've been using grow lights for quite a while and tried many different products. The first thing I noticed about this product is the good quality. The gooseneck arms are solid built. Not like the old ones I used to have which are too soft to shape. For this product it is easy to shape the arms in any positions and they won't drop over time. The clip is solid too. My plant shelf is 1.25 in thick and the grasp is very stable. So far I am very satisfied with the stability of this product. The tripod also looks solid but I am not using it at the moment. The timer works fine so far. I only use the 12-hour setting and it comes on and off on time. The led lights come with 10 different level of brightness which I think unnecessary. For me 3 levels are enough. Usually I just use the brightest level. I've been having this product for one week. So far I am very pleased with it. Will update in winter if my plants like it or not. ... show more

It seems to work very well. My plants survived the winter in a dark room with only this light. The only thing I wish was different about it is when the power goes out, it won't come back on until you turn it on. So it doesn't remember the program it is set for. My houseplants love these lights in the darker winter months! I haven’t gotten 2 sets. One in the plant room and one in the living room. The light is perfect and my plants continue to grow all winter long. Love the flexibility of the arms, so easy to cover all the plant babies. Great value!

They're just not that bright. Not for what I need. Good if you are only using on a few plants and can keep the lights pretty close to the plants. Like within 6 inches. I give three stars for the 16 hour timer which is nice. Most other lights like these only go up to 12 hours. And I like the tripod and stand. I like that I can adjust the type of light, although I have not used that as an experimental variable yet.
