This appears to be an actual Garmin product. The reason I purchased this was for the disc that attaches to dash board which I needed after purchasing a new vehicle. Reviews I read for other similar products indicated that their discs did not adhere well. This disc has been in place now for several weeks and appears to be holding just like the original disc I used in another vehicle. The suction part and the disc work well. The bracket was suppose to fit my Garmin, and it does not. So, I have to transfer the bracket from car to car. This was not the idea when I bought it.

I was able to open it up, attach to my GPS and it worked MUCH better than the junk "multiple use" type of replacements from the other big box retailers.
