  • It improves my in-house training much more realistic!
Not only back and forth, but also left and right! The improvement, it makes, is much bigger than I expected. The price seems a bit expensive for the supplement but is worth, I believe.

  • Spectacular! Worth the money !
Yes they are expensive, but a game changer for indoor training. They are just as awesome as the Tacx Neo 2T trainer 💯🤣

  • Fantastic, what a difference!
They are pricey, but then again so is the Neo 2T. Gramin nailed it with these motion plates. They are dead easy to install, takes less than 5 minutes, no tools. I was a bit skeptical but I have to say that the fore/aft range of motion combined with the side to side flex that the Neo 2T already has really makes for a very “almost like riding outside” feel. Instead of the bike feeling “dead” riding on the trainer it feels light and “alive” like a good road bike does on the road. I’m a fairly big guy at 6’2”, 200# and long rides on the trainer are more “wearing”, I’ve always felt like an hour on the trainer was more like 2 hours on the road, there are a variety of reasons for that but I think the lack of bike motion is part of that. I’ve only done a few rides since installing these plates but I have to say I feel less fatigued after a ride, at the same average power, with the plates. The other thing you will notice is they will highlight issues with your pedal stroke very quickly, these will force you to smooth out your power delivery, more like riding on rollers in that way, which is a good thing. So expensive yeah, but if you train hard indoors and want a good set up I can’t recommend the TACX Neo 2T, the NEO motion plates, and the Wahoo Kickr Headwind Bluetooth Fan highly enough. Really good “pain cave” setup. ... show more

  • Gave me a seasick feeling
I was so excited to try these and wanted to love them. I’m a hardcore Tacx user and have used a Neo most weeks for 5-10 hours/week for the past several years. They were definitely easy to unbox and install, it took about 5 minutes to get it set up. But after several hour rides, I couldn’t get used to the feeling of rocking back and forth. It made me feel a little bit nauseous, similar to the feeling I get on boats. If I kept my power really low and smooth, I would sometimes forget the plates were there. But any time my power increased, I felt a little sick. Any large surge from sprinting was especially bad, but even small surges in power from shifting were enough to make me feel seasick from the rocking. Also looking down at the ground and seeing the bike move back and forth wasn’t great either. I tried to get used to it, but after several rides decided it wasn’t worth it to try to get used to something that is so expensive when I was happy with the trainer before. Thankfully popping off the plates and returning it was an easy process, so I don’t regret trying them. ... show more

  • Good. Yes, perfect??
I installed them and used it for about an hour and a half. It really brings out the best of the Neo 2t. One downside is that you won’t be able to spin your cadence as fast as you’re used to while sitting (is tricky). Another is that is a hit and miss when you’re out of the saddle and try to sit back down again. You have to time it. Other than that, yes buy it. ... show more
