Very good all around.
I don't normally review items, however one reviewer said that it wore out his tire in 20 miles. I don't know how that would be possible if it was operating at all. If the roller/flywheel wasn't turning that might cause tire wear. I've used this quite a lot miles and see no wear at all on the tire. In any case this unit works well, seems exceptionally well built, and I'm having a wonderful time with it. By the way I'm 77, ride either using this trainer, or outdoors at least 30 minutes a day and enjoy exploring the world through Rouvy using it.

The worst smart trainer
The worst smart trainer I've ever tried. Don't buy it... I don't return it because I broke the box because of anger... the sync doesn't work, the data is not on time... you actually get what you pay for... poor quality

Would be better if it could be calibrated
Quiet, compact and seems To work very well with Zwift. Only problem is it won’t calibrate which kinda defeats the purpose of having a “smart” trainer.

Great trainer!!
Excellent trainer. Mine has over 4000 miles with no problems. You need to use a trainer tire. Any trainer. That uses your wheel will wear out tubes about every 500 miles and tire once a year. The smart app is $20 a year. Their customer support is excellent. This is my 2nd Elite trainer. The first one went to my daughter at 3000 miles and is still going. You can set up your usual course and it will mimic the hills. It is a steal at this price.

Pre-Assembled for tire sizes =/<700c (29") bikes; connects to 2023 MyETraining app / Edge 130 plus
Like: No hassle to getting it working. Out of the box assembled and ready for use on Road bikes or MTB/VTT. Elite latest app (2023) myEtraining quickly detected and applied the installation of Elite Upgrado app for firmware updates. Connected to Zwift, Rouvy, and Garmin Edge 130 plus (simple training bike computer). Interaction with previous route elevation and training on Garmin felt proper on resistance. Dislike: The instruction manual is still overly complicated for familiarization but at least the unit came in fully assembled.

Way too glitchy
The assembly instructions are confusing, and ultimately (for my bike, at least) misleading/wrong. This wasn't that hard to overcome, however... just took a little trial and error to figure out how to assemble it. The real problem for me was the Elite myETrainer app's inability to remember the trainer settings. In order to get the app to control the resistance, I had to re-do the setup in the app (Settings > Configuration > ...) every ride (it's supposed to be a one time setup). But more often than not, the first attempt failed to connect the app to the trainer, so I had to do it again before they connected. If I paused a workout, the app would forget the trainer setup, so I'd have to cancel that ride, re-do the setup, and start a new ride. I also had occasional problems with speed readout (it thought I was riding at 400mph); I suspect those too were the fault of the trainer, but I'm not actually sure of that.

Product might be ok, but I'm not sold.
Mine came damaged and was in terrible shape when I received it. I did receive a timely refund when I sent it back, but my overall experience is I am not impressed. The charger/cable it comes with feels cheap. The plastic panels are cheap and mine were cracked just upon opening. The actual unit is fairly nice for working with Zwift. VERY LOUD. Also messes up with your tires quite a bit. My rear tread was reduced by easily half just after a 20 mile ride--this brings up the question, why invest in trainer tires specifically for a turbo trainer when the entire selling point of a turbo trainer is the ease of swapping it on and off? Keep in mind you need to swap the rear through axle to use their proprietary axle, and the swapping of a tire is significantly more difficult and is literally several processes more than what is required for a direct drive unit. In short, the main selling point of a turbo trainer and this one especially is the convenience, which is non-existent in this case, and the price. For a hundred bucks more, however, you can pick up a Zwift hub which is much more accurate, silent, easy to use, and overall hassle free and reliable.
