  • The Best of the Best
This is likely the best handheld GPS unit on the market, especially with its onboard 5 Watt radio function (which definitely makes this geared toward hunting or in-the-woods/mountains adventures). The screen is large, vibrant, and responds accurately to touch inputs. The user interface is also fairly intuitive making it easy to set up and figure out how to use all of the functions. Additionally, I have been impressed with the battery life; in my experience you can run this from dusk till dawn and still have around 25-30% charge remaining. The GPS function itself is excellent, finding satellites and syncing with them quickly. It also maintains a signal very well, even when deep in the woods. Garmin's map software is awesome as always, though you need to buy their detailed region maps separate as this only comes loaded with a basemap. If you are in search of a top-of-the-line GPS with radio capability, this is the one to get! ... show more

  • Excellent Product
I archery hunt in the Back County in the Western US sometimes miles from camp. Add your camp or truck as a waypoint before you leave and and take off. Make sure the unit is fully charged first or bring an extra battery. I bought an alkaline pack for this unit and pack Xtra batteries just in case. You can buy a State map from Garmin that will show private property lines, springs that are usually pretty accurate. I x also sells maps for this unit as well. The Birds eye view on this unit is pretty detailed as well! I'd recommend Garmin products as this is my 3rd unit from Garmin and never have I been disappointed! The accuracy of this unit is pretty amazing, even in heavy forest conditions. Satellite lock is almost instant even indoors! ... show more

  • Great GPS!
Bought this to update my GPS and get the same model as my hunting buddies. This GPS is great! Large screen, easy to use and very light. Highly recommend for any hunter. Radio has a limited range, but works good.

  • Rino 750 disappointment
Do not buy. $550 for the GPS, $90 for a decent topo map software, $40 dollars for 3 different SD cards, 9 hrs for 3 sessions of downloading, 2 trips to Wally World 3 garmin support calls and the damn thing still doesn't work! Garmin support was helpful and sending me an SD with the map program on it If that doesnt work. Will return it and find another brand. ... show more
