  • Awesome
These work very well. I am using them in the Adirondack mountains and in very rugged terrain, with large amounts of iron deposits and the radio works well. GPS has many functions and works well also. I have only 1 small complaint. That would be, the compass does not work if your not moving. Would recommend to a friend and he now has one… ... show more

  • Amazing little radio. Satellite connected quick.
Good solid walkie talkie. Really don’t need the 750-t

  • Works great for me
Like the smaller size and weight of the 700 over the 750's, fits very nice in the hand. The radio seems to be very good and features like texting and position sharing make it a great product. The GPS side of the unit seems to be outdated and the same software is used on much older models. Don't expect any maps. On the other hand if all you need is marking waypoints and getting you back out of the woods, which is what I wanted, then it does the job. Wish it had replaceable batteries, when your hunting off road for days there's no way to recharge unless you carry a battery pack and again that adds more weight. If this unit had a color screen and replaceable batteries it would be the perfect unit for what I use it for. If you want maps its not for you. ... show more

  • Extremely overpriced 2 way radio
Advertised as a Rino from Garmin this device serves one purpose well, that is as a $300+ radio. All other functions have been reduced to a point of uselessness that is ridiculous for the price point. The major disappointment is the lack of uploading additional maps. Meaning your "tracks" are in the middle of a blank screen. Your "friends" are in the middle of a blank screen. You have no idea of where creeks or roads or how many hills are between you. Just saying this was a CORE function of Rino for 4 generations and this device doesn't have it. If this was priced at say $100-120 it would make some sense, even then it should not carry the Rino branding except to send your location to others with higher models that can actually do something with it. I would not recommend the Rino 700 at this price and cannot comprehend why Garmin released it in this state when it could have had the potential to be so much more. ... show more

  • Great so far
Works great and I look forward to testing it further. I purchased to replace a Garmin Rino 300 I have had for years.

  • Radio & GPS
I mistakenly bought the 64SX. I should have kept this one instead. I just do not have enough arms to a firearm, map, GPS and radio. Either buy an SOS device or satellite phone.

  • Proof that all motion is not progress
Does not compare to to the 120. It’s so much heavy and bulkier. The non Removable battery is proof this is meant for the streets of NY than the back country. So many times I have needed to change batteries in the field to get out before dark. And If the battery dies in this thing well might be able to use it as a pillow to spend the night. The screen is not improved. It seems to have to be same functionality as units from early 2000s. The clip on the back made to look like a clip but only is where clip will attach making it super bulky. I am so annoyed just looking at it. I do like the sturdiness of the antennas. That is an improvement. And set up is automatic which is helpful for first use ... show more
