I am taking one star off simply because it is not exactly like the band it is replacing. I had the original watchband for just about 3.5 years. And it finally broke. This new one fits perfectly with my Forerunner 230. The tools it came with worked just like they were supposed to. The difference in the bands is that they are made out of different materials. This new one is a softer silicone. It doesn't hold it's shape as well as the original so the free loop ring that holds the end of the strap in place doesn't actually slide well at all. So if you are taking your watch on and off frequently, it can be a bit of an annoyance. Additionally, the new strap is ever so slightly thinner. It hasn't made a difference yet (Ive had it for a few days now). The feel of it while it's being worn is unremarkable. It serves it's purpose and is really cute. For that, I'm satisfied! Will update when it breaks. *update in Feb. 2022* I have updated my stars to one star now. This band did not last long. The clasp that held it together fell off one day and I had been folding it under itself so it would stay on. This was over a year ago. It bothered me so much that I completely stopped wearing my watch and even lost it in a drawer for a good while. Please save yourself the regret and buy a replacement straight from the Garmin store.

Took a moment to figure out how to use the tools included (hint: use both screwdrivers at the same time) but worked great once I did. It’s nice to have a perfect watch band again. I think it’s slightly softer/more flexible than my original.

I paid more to get this but it ended up being no better than the knockoffs. Comes apart all the time. To make matters worse, seems Garmin changed the watch bands for all watches. The original is no longer available.

Ahh finally. I tried out some lower priced straps, but I guess you get what you pay for. Better to buy Garmin branded stuff for replacement. This one was really good.

Good band for my forerunner 225. It moves around a little bit on the hinge since it is thinner than the standard 225 band but much better because it is not as sticky as the standard 225 band.
