  • Great value for monies expended
Style: Straight
Protec is well know for the manufacture of instrument cases. Their cases are a great value for the monies expended. The cases are light, but well constructed, and support instruments very well. The soprano case is exceptional in that it has adjustable sections that can be adjusted for soprano saxes of different manufacturers. As a replacement case, the Protec soprano sax case is second to none, and is highly recommended. ... show more

  • PERFECT FOR MY ROLAND AE20!
Style: Straight
This case is perfect for my newest purchase (Roland AE20.) I've used Protec cases for years for my trumpets and have always loved the quality, durability and value. When I purchased my AE20, Roland was kind enough to include a gig bag, but it's not meant to protect much beyond moisture. If you're going to play a gig, you need something sturdy and this fits the bill! The pads on the inside are moveable (on velcro) and you can customize the placement perfectly. I don't know if this would fit the AE30 since that instrument is a bit longer, but this is perfect for the AE20! Buy this case if you have an AE20! ... show more

  • Great Case
Style: Straight
I have a Yanagisawa S6, and this case holds it perfectly. A lot of the other people on here who bought it for their soprano don't seem to like it, but I think they're just lazy. The thing is that it's customizable, so as to fit a large variety of saxes, whether they be straight or curved neck, removable neck or one piece, traditional palm keys or Mark VI style, or what have you. It just takes a little experimentation to get the little foam pieces to fit your instrument right, but once you do it works great. Very sturdy, very light-weight, with a handle that is comfortable to hold for long periods of time, way more storage space than you will ever need, and a shoulder strap. This thing has it all. To me and most others I know, this and all other Protec cases are the best you can get for the money. ... show more

  • I, too, use this for an EWI...
Style: Straight
It's amusing that 95% of the reviews for this say they're using it for an EWI lol. I use it for my EWI 4000s and couldn't be happier. It fits 99% perfectly, and has storage space for the AC adapter (which I never use anyway, but nice to have it just in case), MIDI and audio cables if you need them, a neck strap, and a pocket within the outer pocket that screams 'stuff me with extra batteries.' I keep 8 extra eneloops in the case along with a charger. The exterior is pretty rugged and holds up well to moderate abuse so far. Definitely the case to beat for an EWI, imo, and the price is not bad at all. ... show more

  • Amazing Case!
Style: Straight
Horn fit awesome (Keilwerth 2 Necks). With the level you can customize where the padding goes it will fit pretty lunch any soprano snugly.

  • Nice sturdy case, not too heavy.
Style: Curved
This case holds my Bauhaus Waldstein curved soprano very nicely, and it's got plenty of room for reeds, mouthpieces, and accessories. The construction appears pretty heavy-duty, like all Protec cases I've used. I'm not a fan of cases that zip shut, but if it's got to be a zipper, at least this one is heavy-duty and moves well. Protec cases may not be the least expensive out there, but they're very good value for the money. 10/10 would buy again. ... show more

  • A beautifully appointed carrying case.
Style: Straight
I love everything about this product. It's jazzy style, durability, functionality. I can rest assured, that my sax will arrive back home, in the same condition, that it left in.

  • Aerophone Pro Case
Style: Straight
Bought it for my Roland Aerophone AE-30. It fits and protects the horn well for travel. The soft gig bag that came with the AE-30 is sadly not very useful compared to this well made hard case.
